Dream House was a mediocre film. It was a very restricting psychological horror thriller where the plot stretched on for too long due to an early twist. Daniel Craig, who I praised in my The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn review didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t stand out so much in this film.

Dream House is punishingly slow, stuffy, and way too obvious to be scary.

Dream House
Daniel Craig is a write/editor who wants to spend more time with his family. Therefor he gives up his job, leaves New York and moves to a quiet suburb. Once arrived "nothing is what it seems"....
Indeed: it is as standard and cliché as that last line sounds, at least the first part of the movie is. The twist comes way too early in the second part, making that a weird and messy mix of horror, crime and psychological drama that doesn`t really satisfy at all...
