The Ice Storm: Strong performances (Kevin Kline, Joan Allen (sublime), Sigourney Weaver (wonderful),....), A climax that is like a KO in boxing: i'm still impressed by these film. A gruesome soundtrack. This is a masterpiece and the best film from Ang Lee.

I watched T-2 today. It's good innit? I remember I joined Brittania video when I was 13 (1992) and got it as part of my initial order. It blew me away then but blimey it looks good on DVD. Not like it's the first time I've had it on DVD I've owned it for two years but hey,,,, once you have them there's no need to stop loving them.

A History Of Violence: A decent enough little film, which shied away from a Hollywood-esque 'moral of the story' conclusion, leaving moments open to viewer interpretation, or in the eyes of a critic, plot holes. Whichever way you look at it, its an hour and hallf well spent. 3.5/5

I Heart Huckabees: What a strange story. It's not bad, certainly not. But It's difficult to say what I think about this film.

Just got back from the Wallace & Gromit movie with the family. The kids thought it was hilarious & even Mrs Frankie, who hadn't really been bothered about seeing it, admitted to enjoying it.

I thought it was rubbish.

Calm down Donald, only kidding,  it was brilliant of course.
Some good puns in there too - "Arsin' around", "We'll be there in an Aaaargh!"
Good stuff, definitely best kids film of the year (although that's not saying much this year).

Crackin'.

Good to see Wallace & Gromit getting some good reviews.

Yesterday I saw Brokedown Palace, which was decent enough, and Mean Girls, which was very funny.

I've watched.....

Wonderland 4/5 - Pretty Good, the end was pretty freaky, had me wincing!

Hero 4/5 - Still a beautiful film

The Interprete 3.5/5 - Bought and watched again today, got to see an alternate ending to but it wasnt that much different, so kinda a waste, still good though. Sean Penn is fab!
