The Fog (Carpenter's original). Not seen it in ten years, picked up the DVD at the weekend... I'd forgotten how tight that movie is. Still quite creepy, plus it made me want to watch Prince Of Darkness too.

Not looking forward to the remake, aside from the fact Maggie Grace is in it...

Saw Cinderella Man the other day.  Howard will never be a great film maker, but it has its moments.  Good air-punching swell of tearfulness at the end where Braddock does what we all know he will (cos it IS a Ron Howard film.)  Worth seeing if you're after a natural pick me up.

Prince of Darkness is with Halloween one of the absolute toppers from John Carpenter.

Forgot how brilliant it was, tense & atmospheric through out 70's cinema at its best. IMO Robert Redford's & Dustin Hoffman's best ever performances.

Okay, I'm gonna have to check this Serenity out now. It better be good or there'll be trouble.

Just make sure you've got some spare cash afterwards so you can go and buy the Firefly boxset!
