You're right but seen as this is ep 2 something is bound to keep them there.

Yes, and as another season has been commissioned I agree. Something is obviously going to keep them in the house and unable to move.

Excellent so far. Cheesy, stupid fun. Not as scary as I was hoping for but the OTT camp daftness of it more than makes up. young old/young cleaner is hot too.

SPOILERS?

So Im thinking that the patient boy is the son of Jessica Lange?

I wasn't sure I was going to like this show the first week but after watching the 2nd episode I got right into it.  Quite liking the suspense of it although it's not as scary as I thought it was going to be.  Reckon it's gonna be a head-fuck though.

Yeah, *spoiler* I'm also thinking Red has some kind of connection too. I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually ghosts too.

Great show. Can't wait to see what happens. Why are they gonna stay there?

The feelings I have towards the sexy/old maid confuses me!

Not only do they look a bit different they act very different too. Young, sexy maid acts all sexy but turns out she was being raped before being murdered.

Its completely daft but fantastically enjoyable.

agree - absolutely batshit crazy but compelling!

How could anyone not get freaked out by all the things that have happened!

Having said that, I am loving it. Along with the Walking Dead, FX is becoming a great channel

Imagine if the glamour slipped while mid-flagrante!   Looking down to see that cloudy dead eye staring back at you...

They're staying now because (a) they can't afford to move; and (b) it would be too stressful for the baby.  As if living in a house full of spiteful ghosts in which you'd just been viciously attacked wasn't stressful...

Jessica Lange's character is becoming one of my favourites, a real class A bitch - "You know what I'm reminded of when I look at that dead eye of yours?  That I'm one hell of a shot"

She absolutely stamped her bitch status with the very first episode with the way she described her own daughter and the way she only wanted to have pure-bred pedigree dogs in her kennels.

Wonder if the bloke in the gimp mask will turn out to be that Charles feller that built the house in the first place?

It's great so far.  However there's no way you could build something that big, that fast.  Woudn't his wife say, hang on I thought we were moving, why are you building this?

I was thinking that was an impressive bit of DIY. Would be wonderful to get someone to work that fast rather than come in do that breathing in through the teeth thing and take three weeks over putting a bath in!

Yay! Zachary Quinto!

He makes a very impressive Queer Eye panellist.

Wasn't expecting that to happen, poor Adelaide.

This show is weird. I don't even think I like it, but can't stop watching it. It must be growing on me. I think my girlfriend and I are onto episode seven. It's all pretty crazy.

Great to see Spock gay it up! This gets better and better!

I hope they haven't killed off Abbie. What did that baby scan show?

Even if Adelaide is dead, she'll still be around because she'll have died on the grounds of the house which was why her mother was dragging her across the road.

No idea what the scan showed, but I doubt it was a baby!

Yeah I reckon she'll come back as a ghost.  This is weird, creepy fun so far.  I'm not sure how long they can drag this out before we start shouting, "Get out of the house! Now!"

Favourite show of the week (at the moment.)  Sometimes it feels like a hassle watching episodes (from other series) but I can't wait for this!

The title is misleading, it should be called American Ghost Stories.

It's pretty much every Haunted House story ever, mashed into each other.  It's camp as a row of tents, it reminds me of reading those classic horror comics that were loosely themed.

I like it.

So Tate's Constance's son. So far so predictable, didn't think he'd actually carried out the high school slaughter though, I thought it was just a fantasy thing he had.

Its best not to think about this show too much. They were in the hospital having pains and a freaky scan make a nurse faint. One phone call and theyre at home.

STOP THINKING BORSTAL AND JUST ENJOY IT! Which I am.

I'm confused about Tate now.  Not that he's the son, I thought that was pretty obvious a while back.
I had him pegged as a teenager, but one of the girls said to him "I should be 34 now!".

What the very fuck?

How many episodes are left?  Because over the last two, it has just gone bonkers.

Agree with Borstal about the whole forgetting about the Baby Incident.  Although, I suppose they were abit busy.

My guess? And it is a total guess, although I'll put this bit into invisotext just in case it ends up being a spoiler:

After his high school murdering spree he was shot down by the police at home and was killed on the grounds of the house. I also have a sneaky feeling he might be the gimp blokey.

hmmmm.  Good.  but, we have seen him outside the house grounds.  It's my understanding that the ghosts can't leave except on Halloween.

Spoiler It was still Hallowe'en when you saw him outside on the beach, otherwise he's been in the house or certainly on the grounds.

As I said anyway - it's just a guess.

Before that we saw him at a therapy session getting coffee, when the Dad broke down and told him about his own troubled teenage years.

Completly OTT this show but also addictive and a gulity pleasure. It seems almost everyone on it is a ghost  or becomes one due to that cursed house. Jessica Langes got a great role in this with a touch of Norma Desmond from Sunset Boulivard thrown in. They make her look really rough.

So I`m guessing that other lady had sex with a demon dressed in leather and now shes got the antichrist inside her. The guy with the half burnt face who set his family on fire is I suppose h is a ghost too. It`s like a homage to every classic scary film you`ve ever seen. I think I`m hooked!
