Is Tom Urie actually Rick Astley if he were eaten by Heather Trott?

I am deeply honoured at the outpouring of love, affection and excitement upon the release of my debut opus, Tom Urie. However, in my credits, you missed out "second guy from the front" in Chewin The fat and "Pure raging guy" in Still Game.

I have never wilfully eaten Rick Astley, and although Heather Trott and I share a certain rotundness, that's as far as the similarity goes.

I am humbled beyond belief at your interest in lil' ol' me.

Love forever

Tom Urie xxx

Tom, can you tell Kiernan and Hemphill that we need another special/series of Still Game when you see them next.

Hello Tom Urie. I don't know who you are but you seem like an absolute gentleman and I definitely want to buy your album a bit more now.

Also, these people don't know Eddi Reader. Hmph.

Also, a new series of Still Game would be amazing. It has to happen!

For those that don't know Eddi Reader, she was the singer in Fairground Attraction, who had a number one single in the eighties with "Perfect." She's still a big star in Scotland and has a gorgeous voice, check her out xxx

Does Eddi really have the patience of angels, Tom? Tell me it's true.

Tom, is it true that you're supporting Shakin' Stevens? Is there any chance of him playing Merry Christmas Everyone in October? Also, will you post here and tell us if he's a nice guy once you've met him?

She does have the patience of angels, and she is indeed, perfect. Shaky's gig is actually at the end of November, so there's every chance we'll get the Xmas song.

And I will try to find out what was behind the Green Door......
