It's like the moment has finally come to let people have another good moan. It was always obvious that Star Wars will be released in 3D. Lots of movies are getting the treatment, it's not just Lucas.

Funnily enough, if we recall "Back to the Future Part II" we see a 3D hologram of Jaws leaping out as part of the promotional advertisement for "Jaws 19". Seeing as we're almost three years away from 2015, could "Jaws 3D" be around the corner?

Personally I don't have a problem with 3D as long as it isn't foisted on us, which is never will be as that would be financial suicide. Perhaps it will evolve to become truly immersive one day but until then, I'll stick to 2D "thank you very maaatch!"

It's looks incredibly crappy and fake.... but then so do the 2006 DVD covers - like a child has been let on Photoshop. Not quite the level of the fugly illustrated new testament level stuff the Blu Ray set got, but still.

As for the 3D release, I'm tired of this fad and have no interest in seeing GOOD films in the format.

There hasn't been decent SW artwork since the Drew Struzan work.

What the Helen of Troy are you talking about you gabbering babboon. Can people just start reading their posts before actually posting them? Plus you still haven't told us what your 314 is and how it's gonna lay upon my candy arse. Is 314 a euphemism for your stools? Explain yourself boy!!

314 is the exact number of rewrites Lucas would've needed to make TPM any good.

I wouldn't waste another 2 hours of my life watching the bloody Phantom Menace again. Apart from Darth Maul, it's all filler material and embarrassing filler material at that (Jar Jar, the pointless space battle with little Anakin, Natalie Portman's phoney English accent that mysteriously disappears in the sequels and that midi-Chlorians "explanation" of the Force). Lucas should really have combined all three prequels into one good 3-hour movie...oh shit, I've just given him another idea to rip us off with! STOP THE REISSUES, YOU GREEDY BILLIONAIRE, YOU! I feel better now.

Or the number of times he'd cock it up again.

Indeed. It's spelled "jabbering baboon" by the way.

I like your explanation a lot better. Let's just stick with that.

So code "314" simply means you've pinched one off in the middle of M&S say?

Ah! But you can roll it in glitter and it becomes a magical money making turd.
