I would say Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is closer to Echo from Dollhouse

You've got Simon's picture mixed up with Xander! Simon's bone structure is much more refined. I like that you bring up Sheperd Book (who was all but neglected in the fandom) but to confuse two directly contrasting characters is a little weird... Besides that, great article. But I would like a trailer breakdown too... Let your nerd wings fly...

Nick Fury, like Giles, is more deadly than his appearance might suggest? What part of a bad motherfucker in a black leather trenchcoat and eyepatch says 'not deadly' to you?

I have my suspicions that Agent Coulson will serve as the Jonathan of the film...

Generally enjoyable, (though not especially substantive,) but I have a slight bone to pick over your description of Col. Fury: "more deadly than his appearance might suggest."

Colonel Fury is *Samuel Jackson*, wearing a black leather trench coat and a decidedly piratical eye patch. With a goatee! What *possible* appearance could better suggest deadliness?

and even then the choices are suspect. Nick Fury has better dress sense than Giles? Not in a million years. In that get-up Fury looks as camp as knickers whereas Giles looked nothing less than stylish and cool...

Ewww, why are you even comparing the Avengers to Buffy? That's insulting to the Avengers.

Let nobody forget that Favreau and the Iron Man team made Tony Stark the way he is today. He also fit in perfectly with Favreau's past characters, as with everybody.
