Nobody seems to give a shit but some dude from the Spartacus TV show has been case as McClane's son....pretty much sums up the level of talent that's involved in this flick.

Personally, I think the guy from Spartacus is ok, well he was good in that show anyway, and in that screen test shot I could buy him as a hardass son of Mclane and I totally didn't recognise him as Varro from Spartacus. SO, I don't mind the casting of him, although I probably would've preferred the guy from Breaking Bad who's name escapes me.

I'm not against another Die Hard movie, part 4 is actually a pretty good flick despite its flaws and OTT nature, and lets not kid ourselves that the Die Hard movies have ever been anything other than OTT, yes, including the superb original. Personally, I would've preferred Wiseman back in the directing chair over Moore, but I'll give part 5 a chance.

Die Hard 5...McClane and his son

Die Hard 6...McClane and his daughter and son,

Die Hard 7...his kids take over the franchise,

Die Hard 8...franchise becomes like 'Rush Hour'

Franchise milked to death...the end.

-_-

Remember when Die Hard was a hard ass adult action thriller? long time ago huh.

I find it hard to believe any villain will be as bad and bland as Olyphant.

To be honest my problem was that I heard Bruce Willis was griping that script changes must be made to include anecdotes of how evil this Man was (The Kevin Smith exposition scene) as in Bruce's opinion Olyphant was playing the villain like a 'Fucking pussy'. Never got that out of my head as I watched ha.

The movie should be able John McClane breaking John McTiernan out of prison so they can attempt to make a decent movie again.

This, I fear, will be shit. Love Willis, but the director is dreadful.

Really enjoyed the uncut version of Die Hard 4 and thought it was a big improvement on DH3.

This could go either way but im always up for more Mclane.Count me in!

This will be many things, but Die Hard it will not be one of them.

As long as its got shoot outs and explosions and Mclane saying " yippee Kay yay motherfucker! " then it will be Die Hard.

Willis looks like he's in the McClane zone in that teaser, only a short clip but he seems more of a smartass that he was in 4.0. McClane being a supercop will always be shit though, 4.0 was bad enough with the Jet (I did enjoy the film...) but now he's destroying Russia with his meathead kid. Thats not Die Hard and it'll probably be PG-13.

Looks shiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Can't even remember anything of the fourth one, apart from Kevin Smith being a twat and the awful jet plane sequence, but I know I've seen it.

I want Die Hard to take place in a building, not some generic action with Bruce Willis running around L.A.
