Why did Damon try and stake Klaus? They said earlier in the episode that if a Vampire stakes an original they die! Hu.

really loved the ep though, can't believe they've killed michael off already though. thought he would of been around a bit longer.

nice fake out though that it was katherine preteding to be elena that got stabbed !! couldn't believe it at first so surprising.

interesting to see where this leads now stefan is no longer being compelled by klaus.

anyone watch the return of this last night? thoughts?

a good ep to return with, can't believe they're getting rid of jeremy though, someone who could help them out now he knows the truth . as evidenced by chopping that hybrids head off !!

wonder whats up with ricks ring though and why its not working properly. makes things more interesting know he hasn't got that to rely on.

who thinks that later on the whole original family will end up woken up??

I liked it. I won't miss Jereomy tbh. He was dead weight. From a story POV it made sense. Either they kill him off (doubful since it'd leave Elana with no family) or as you said bring him to the front line but she didn't want that for him.

I thought Klaus was funny by not waking up his sister in case she kills him lol. Missed Caroline this week. Easily one the shows best characters.

well that was a bit of a let down finding out it was Alaric killing people - though it was certainly unexpected. bit annoying though how a spell from bonnie seems to of yet again fixed everything.

The finale has played here right?

I was a bit disappointed with this season. The Klaus/Original family thing just dragged on forever. Ripper Stefan was a load of bollocks. I must admit they did bring it back with the last few episodes for Stef. He's bee much more bearable. Hopefully he won't be a martyr anymore. I liked the Damon/Elena stuff at the start of the season, but again they had her dither too long.

But... The final moments of the show! Hahah! Got me looking forward to the new season. I was just so surprised they went there. But there was a load of foreshadowing during the episode. Elijah saying he'd keep Klaus "dead" well after Elena's children's children had lived and died. Talk of her living her life out with one of the bros for 60 years and then her dying... Hahah. Oh no. Ain't gonna happen.

Kathrine is gonna be pissed!
