The stage play is meant to be fantastic, though I've not seen it. What puts me off this film - and what the article failed to mention - is that the adapted screenplay was done by Richard Curtis. Yes, the man who created the line 'Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed.'



Also the man that made a WWI Blackadder finale more moving than anyone ever expected it to be with a single line.

I know it's terrible isn't it. A film where people feel and show emotion at something. I need more films where everyone is cynically sitting around and moaning about how something is rubbish.

 Yeah alright, there was some tongue in cheek there. Although I hear he didn't quite write Blackadder that way, they slowed it down in the edit and found it worked better. I absolutely adore Blackadder, but he still wrote that awful line in 4 Weddings...

Oh come on, what, are you trying to impress girls on here or something?
I cried at E.T., I shed a tear at Babe. Maybe it's just a shit trailer, cos I have no idea why that boy loves that horse...

Looking forward to Tintin though.

You have to know horses to understand, but the same basic principle can be applied to any pet. You never seen The Incredible Journey??
