Its referring to the production nightmare that was The Last Action Hero. There's a massive feature on it in this month's magazine, a good read.

How refreshing to see Empire put a film that isn't a comic book/sequel/blockbuster on the cover for once. I can think of numerous occassions where there was opportunity to do this, instead succumbing to the importance of sales.

Don't think this cover works well - but the minimalist subscriber exclusive version works a treat!

I actually like the cover, admittedly they could've used better shots but its refreshing to see a film like this on the cover. The film looks awesome too (:

I will be interested to see how this movie compares to the recent one (subtitled) It was a brilliant film.
It is quite soon after the non English trilogy was released. Great Actors in it though so looking forward to seeing it.
