oh come on people, i've been avoiding "spoilers" for this flick like poison, and then you post a sodding picture RIGHT ON THE FRONT PAGE FOR ALL TO SEE.

Now, granted it's not THAT spoilery, but i would have liked to have seen it for the first time in the trailer of whatever.

Alright, so at least she now looks like a cat but it's still an utterly uninspired design; it looks like it's been designed by an accountant on beta-blockers. Only the most ardent Nolanite would even consider claiming that this is better than the Batman Returns outfit.

Couldn't agree with you more mate. I've loved the previous films and have no doubt this will be excellent, however this design is really disappointing.

It's a suit for stealth purposes, to hide in shadows, and any fleeting glimpses of her are gonna make whoever sees her see the 'ears' and thereby she'll become known as Catwoman. I have no idea what people were expecting the costume to look like, but surely the whole cat burglar sneaking around thing was gonna end up with something practical and unshowy in a Nolan film?

Bat suit also looks Bobbins ,really, without the right framing and lighting etc.

The costume will, probably, be the right kind of costume for the version of the character being portrayed and the film in which the character is appearing.

I'd rather she had some big cyber-punk goggles an' that.  It's a bit bland character wise.

However, it is Anne Hathaway in a leather cat suit.  Right Click in Brain, Save as "Action Later".

 I may be proved wrong on this but with Nolan's universe in mind I bet selina kyle is never called 'catwoman' in this film. It will be down to the audience to draw the obvious inferences.

soooooooooo bored of batman movies and endless different versions

Ok, Batman Begins was great as an origins story, but Dark Knight was soooooooo tedious and overrated!

There's so much more exciting stuff coming out next year that i couldnt care less about yet another Batman Movie

...she does look hot tho!!:P

Don't remember catwoman being able to levitate...

If you look closely the 'ears' are actually her goggles. That said, I was so hoping for an actual cowl, not a domino mask which serves no purpose in hiding one's identity. Hathaway might have something in her contract which stipulates her face has to be seen. Many actors do, which is why a lot of movie superheroes spend an inordinate amount of time unmasked. Reynolds didn't have his mask on much and Hemsworth almost never wore his helmet. A vain lot, these actors.

 This may sound a bit crazy but maybe there will be a comedy scene between Bruce Wayne and Alfred. Bruce says he cant get it up and Alfred says 'well maybe you need some viagra Mr Wayne' hence the title. Well its possible isn't it?

 There's obviously no evidence to support my theory but think a lot of the leaked images are a bit of dummy from Nolan to keep us all guessing. Given the brilliant campaign around The Dark Knight and the little we actually knew about the plot before the actual relase I wouldn't be suprised

 The thing for me is that there a massive 'fuss' made by Hathaway in light of the first reveal saying 'oh you haven't seen the full costume, there is loads more to come', clearly was fluff from a PR point of view to paer the cracks over the fact they were suprised at the somewhat downbeat response to the first pics from the public. As far I can see, bar some 'ears' being added there is sweet FA difference from the first bat pod pic.

 Seems I'm still waiting for the return female action heroes *not* crammed into corsets and stripper shoes, pretty disabling garb for any superhero. Prefer Whedon's Black Widow in biking leathers and wedges but still not exactly Linda Hamilton or Sigourney Weaver. Please tell me that wasn't our golden age for women in action.
