So what did we think of the first episode? Thought it was fantastic myself, particular highlights include trying to slide down the mountain on his bum, bungee jumping from 5ft, and his very own Wilson, plus the awkward moment when you don't want to wear a humbas (think that's what its called!)

One of my favourite parts of the show is how the guy behind the camera will occasionally get involved, usually just trying to get Karl involved in some way. It's hard for the cynics to say scenes are set up and scripted when you have the crew, for the simple sake of good TV, telling Karl to take part and him just downright refusing! Gotta love him.

Yeah great first episode. The best bit was his stupid little ground jump. And then his conversation with Ricky afterwards where he was cracking up - a sight you rarely see.

Amusing rather than hilarious, but worth it for Karl creasing up at Ricky on the phone.

Shame we didn't see that in series 1. I think that was the 'real' Karl coming through there. As funny as the guy is, a lot of the attitude is amplified I think for the shows - but as long as the guy keeps making me laugh I'm not that bothered.

The bit where he was sliding down the volcano like 'a dog wiping it's arse' was side-splittingly funny. As was the 4ft / 4 1/2ft / 5ft bungee jump. Can't wait 'til next week.

I just loved how Karl was completely bemused by Warwick's thoughts on the place.

Maybe my favourite episode of the whole Series this week. Scenes with the thieving monkeys and Karl training whilst that dog ran riot around him. Had me in hysterics! "This never happened in Rocky!"

After returning from a deserved holiday, this was the first on my list of catch-ups, and while not as instantly brilliant as the first season, it remains great tv. Seeing Karl crack up during the first episode was great, his land dive from 4ft wasn't as much a dive as a stumble and seeing his pleasure afterwards as the tribe celebrated was awesome. The egg cup he stole was also a highlight for me. Having listened to Karl from the very begining I was surprised at how easily he accepted the Lady Boys, I trhought it would really stress him. Karl with the dwarfs...awesome. Karl with the monkeys....awesome. Karl with the shark....awesome. I love how he is still stressed over his boiler after all these years.

The whole lady-boy bit was hilarious. The shot of him sitting eating crisps in full female regalia was great.

Best episode so far.

I loved the monkeys tail hitting him in the face just before the credits. It's thing like that to me that make An Idiot Abroad - another show would drop that and put it in the blooper reel but not AIA!

This series is better than the last as far as I'm concerned.

For all the stick Karl gets for being reluctant to try new things and get stuck in (and he obviously has to be frequently cajoled into doing things against his will), he does a lot of stuff that there's no way I'd do. I would never have got in that shark cage or let a bunch of Russians bury me alive for example

He skipped the zero G flight though. That would deffo be on my bucket list.

The last episode was awesome, definitely the best of the series so far. I was in stitches when he said he'd get Susan to carry the shopping if he found out she was a ladyboy.

Wasn't it chicken?

Anyway, I would totally love to do a shark dive, it has been my top bucket list thing to do for years and years. I would love it, so I was really glad Karl got in and did it. The thing that made that sequence though was how he described how it was so terrifying that you forgot all other worries, which he then went on to list....clearly thinking about them more than the shark! Then when the shark came close to the cage, "It's the size of a sofa!".
