Oh, and Easy Rider, Gandhi and Midnight Express have already been released as part of it.

What a random bunch of titles. Sony know that anything will sell if you stick it in a fancy slipcase and number it.

They've obviously seen the number of Criterion toadies out there who would buy a rat-ass sandwich if it had the Criterion label on it.

But all these films are considered classics by many so I don't see the problem with the selection.

I can't seem to find Ghandi, Midnight Express or Easy Rider, can find versions of them that aren't a sony classic title though

Apparently they're being advertised with the original artwork, but most sites are still sending out the new ones. I know that Zavvi are sending out Easy Rider and Gandhi as part of their 2 for £12 offer at the moment. To be honest, you'll probably find better info here -

Going through ordering these. Can anyone find Midnight Express in this format? It's the only one I can't find...

I know you dont check to see if there are other threads in the forum on the same topic, but you could at least look up a few posts where Adam has answered your question.

I know you think little of me, but you could at least think I would have looked at Zavvi already. That particular offer a) is no longer on, and b) they don't have any of this version...

glad to be of service, glad you managed to pick it up. I love these Sony Classics (the packaging etc). I've never seen Midnight Express and am pretty tempted myself

They've got the four that I'm missing (Midnight, Boot, Rider and Hood) in my local HMV so think I'm probably going to grab these while I can.

Is it wrong that, had it not been part of this collection, I would have had no intention of buying BITH?  I just can't stand the thought of having a gap!

Just happened to find this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/From-Here-Eternity-Blu-ray-Lancaster/dp/B00AWN5B6I/ref=pd_rhf_gw_s_cp_6_BF9F
Does anyone know what #18/20 etc are? Got them all up to #17 now apart from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon which is proving to be difficult to find...
