I saw it mentioned on ITV news earlier that Mental Health Charities are complaining about it. I think it's pretty awkward when you see these people basically being mocked by millions. Fair enough I imagine that the people in the studio don't immediately think there's anything wrong with the contestants, but they should put a stop to it.

That and the auditions stopped being hilarious when they started using big halls and arenas instead of a small studio with just the judges.

Making headlines now. The show makes out they were being kind giving her another chance but after the way she was received by some of the audience they shouldn`t have shown that.

Apparently they pestered her to go back on the show.

I'm glad it wasn't just ignored.  Hopefully they'll be more careful about who they allow on the show (in future.)

Well I tweeted the X Factors offical tweet thread and told them I thought it was wrong of them to show that audition and why and although my feed states I sent it it`s still not showing on there feed of tweets over two hours later. Only showing upto yesterday which is very suspect. Maybe their being flooded with complaints and don`t want to show them I didn`t see any complaints on there.

So unfair sending people home before they've sung.  I can't believe they've let the chinese woman through and the two guys with coloured hair.  I thought they re-watched the auditions!

Yeah very suspect. It's probably down to the fact that, despite the initial culling of contestants, the producers still want some crazies through (like all previous years).

So much for them only wanting 'great' performers - makes a mockery of it really; but X-Factor's always had a mix of both and I don't see that changing any time soon.

There's also the fact that Louis is still on the show and we all know he loves the weirdos. I think he dug his heels in with a couple of those and refused to weed them out - the preview clip for tomorrow's show alluded to that.

Some of the people who've gone through were actually quite good, and the one's who have gone home were quite bad (the multicoloured heads are out!). Maybe they're taking this somewhat seriously this year...

I'm seeing this totally different from you.  I think this has the potential to be one of the worst series ever.  Most of the singers have no personality and they're average at best.  They sent the lady home with ginger hair (who was bloody good yesterday) and kept the chinese woman

I don't know who puts the show together but they spent too much time on the judges and not enough time on the singers.

Some spoilers here.

Rumours here which are probably true - could be giving lifelines to other contestants by the looks of things.

Far too much time given to Frankie Cockface and Kitty Whatsername. They're decent singers, yes, but they've definitely been put through based on entertainment value first and foremost; I can see Kitty becoming a hate figure akin to Katie Waissel.

There's been too much emphasis on those two from the start. Gives me the impression that someone high up has a little too much input.

Kitty is far worse than katie ever was, she is so up her own arse it's unreal.

Do they put something in the water, or do they cut scenes of the audience in with scenes from entirely different performances. There was one particularly memorable shot of a girl in the crowd having the kind of vapors that haven't been seen since the height of Beatlemania, to some distinctly average singer.

I kind of agree with the poster above who says this year's entrants are decidedly bland. There aren't even any ones you know you will tune in to see because you'll love to hate them, just quite an ample amount of mediocrity, that at this stage actually manages to make last year's line up talented.

The judges I don't care about, but then again I never did in fairness.

None of the singers really stand out so far, but then they've shown more of Wembly than they have of the singers. Most interesting thing so far it Tulisas slow but noticable morphing into Cheryl Cole. Is the plan to keep slowly changing her then swap her for the real thing one week and hope nobody notices?

They make is SO obvious who's going through.  Err, the one's we get to hear sing without a voice over.  The people they actually spend time on before they sing.  The girls category is by far the strongest.  I bet Louie doesn't put through the 30 year old singer (the pretty one) who actually has a chance of doing something.  He'll probably put through the crazy chinese chick and the wacky 45 year old.

"This has never been done before in the history of x-factor" - they do it every year, they've done it about ten times already this series!

Louie has lost his mind.  What did Sinita actually do? She didn't offer common sense that's for sure.  He sent the best two singers home (the women.)
