So will Holmes be encountering the nefarious Moriarty? “Wait and see!” laughed Gatiss. So is that a 'yes'? “It’s a nnn-yes.”

If we're filing the arch-villain's appearance as a 'definitely maybe'..."

Didn't the final episode finish with the confrontation between Holmes, Watson and Moriarty, played by Andrew Scott? I damn well hope series 2 picks up where series 1 left off!

I thought the comments about Moriarty strange considering he appeared in the last series. As he was truly dreadful though, here's hoping it wasn't really him but some stooge, and the real Moriarty has yet to appear. If that is the case I wonder if that was always the plan or did Gatiss and Moffat realise he was piss poor and re-think things?

Or maybe Gatiss just has a really bad memory.

Why are you referring to this show as Season 2? The UK is losing a grip of anything British these days, no idetity anymore.
