The kid would be perfect for that role. Right age, creepy as hell when he wants to be, already pale as death...

I believe you mean Pascow, yes? Victor Pascow? But I agree with that casting suggestion.

I'll be quite interested in this. The Lambert film certainly had some genuinely horrific and chilling moments - plus Fred Gwynne as Jud was perfect casting - but the plot felt a little convoluted and rushed, plus the transformation and character arc of Louis Creed from family-man-of-science to grief-stricken graverobber was never fully explored.

'Tis true he's racking up the remakes but I have to say I thought his 'Hills Have Eyes' was better than the original and 'Piranha 3D' was great entertainment. Admittedly 'Mirrors' was woeful but 'Switchblade Romance' was pretty good.

I'm quite interested in who they'd cast for Jud, at this point, too.

They could of course go for irony and cast Ed Herrmann, but I don't think he really has grimness for it.
