The number of times I've seen pundits trying to excuse Wales' penalty with "there was a bit of contact" or "he was clipped" is unbelievable. I don't know why, but no-one seems prepared to call the diving simian goon for what he is, i.e. a fucking cheat.

I don't buy the "FAI can't afford it" BS. They got €8 million for playing in the EUROS and that's not including sponsors, TV rights etc...

Of course we do have one of the highest paid chief executives in international football who earns more than the head of Spanish and Italian football COMBINED. All this for being a completely ineffective muppet who has done nothing to further the game, the league or youth development in Ireland.

Yeah, you answered your own question about where that money's going. Delaney and the FAI agreeing to buy out Trap's contract would be the equivalent of turkeys voting for Christmas.

 I don't follow the financial affairs of the FAI too closely, but I thought they were still paying off debt associated with the Aviva stadium.
