Have to laugh. Awful defending but the scorer was offside.

Don't suppose there's been a goal at Wemberlee?

Crikey. Kenny Miller has scored.

Well were playing some decent stuff as are the Ukrainians, but with Cleverly more in-tuned to miss chances than to score them I think this will be a long night.
Possibly take-off lampard or cleverly and put on another striker.

I thought England were world-beaters again having trashed the mighty Moldova 0-5?

I think that's a bit harsh on Defoe, he's not been that bad for me. The Ox though has had a shocker.

I'm beginning to think that Gerrard is incapable of making a short pass. His minimum is a thirty yard ball drilled at ninety miles an hour directly at Glen Johnson's shins. Defoe was unfortunate to have his goal disallowed but as looked as dangerous as paper-cut ever since. Lampard has been anonymous apart from that dangerous cut back for Cleverley. The Ox has been isolated for huge chunks of this match.

I hope that Cleverley doesn't cop too much flack for his lack of a finishing touch if we lose this tonight tonight. He's been lively and energetic and, more importantly, has been getting into the right positions. The lad oozes quality and will be a massive player for us in the future, so I hope Roy hauling him off will not affect his confidence too much.

When will people realize that hiring Chris Coleman is not a good idea?

Everyones (apart from Clevs) been a bit shit really, I just don't like Defoe as a player so I am probably been a bit harsh.

Gerrard and Lampard is a problem that never should have happened. They can't play in the same team, neither can perform as deep-lying playmakers and everyone has known this for years. I go on about it alot but it's really fucking annoying that something so bloody obvious is probably gonna cost us a crucial 3 points.

Why would you throw all your strikers on but take your single playmaker off?

Scotland's campaign over already.

Scotland 1-1 Macedonia.

Awful.

Frank Lampard only needs 4 more to equal Alan Shearers tally. That's pretty amazing when you think about it.

Missed the first half so only just seen the Ukraine goal. Aye, great strike and all that but lest we forget a certain little mischevious frenchman did that with his weaker foot the other week...

Levein, in his wisdom, played 4-6-0 away to the Czech Republic. Fletcher was on the bench and unimpressed. Fletcher publicly said playing 4-6-0 was pathetic and horrendously stupid and inviting the defeat that followed. Or something similar. Levein wasn't chuffed. Fletcher said "fine then, don't pick me." Levein said "fine then, I won't." Neither will holster their handbag. So here we are. Good times.

Whenever I heard Coleman on the radio (5live) he came across, along with Craig Burley,as one of the most negative summarizers I've ever listened to.
I was thinking 'How the hell do footballers raise there game with negative nancys like these'.

@boaby

I see.Good times indeed for the Scotts then.
I heard D.Fletcher is making better progress, which is great because he's ,arguably, the type of player both United and Scotland are missing.

Does Steven Fletcher now have an international career,or is that it?

Say what you like about ITV but their use of Death Cab For Cutie is inspired.

Nearly glossed over Southgate apparently believing England were playing Russia.
