 Also nice to see that PS3 owners are treated equally. I had some time to kill so thought i'd snap up the free trophies on PS3, and possibly play through Ep1 with different choices but the PS3 version starts at the house, skips the intro and doesn't give you trophies - I'm not sure how far into Ep1 it goes as I didn't play enough to find out.

This was also after a long download time, install time and the downloading of three updates.......which also needed to be installed. I keep forgetting just how annoying it is trying to play a PS3.

Episode 5 tonight, and I am fucking DREADING it as I know it blatantly won't end well... :(

I'm getting rather "involved" with this game, which is a sign of excellence in my books.

I'm on Episode 5 now too.

Episode 4 - Ben is a complete liability! I have to vent. He froze when he should have saved Clem! Which you may get over eventually. But later on in the day you ask him to look after her ... in the house. You meet her again on the STREETS! You get back to the house and he truly doesn't seem to give a shit.

 Like everyone else, I really loved this but I'm not sure I can give it a shout for game of the year.
Just not enough actual 'game' for me, more an interactive comic.

The best thing to come from the success of The Walking Dead could be we finally get some more of the Telltale back catalogue. Back to the Future I'm looking at you.....

I see this managed to get the True Achievements XBLA game of the year award.  If you ask me, it deserved the overall award too.  Here's to the sequel!

I also made Clem shoot me. Like Sharky said it sets her up to take care of herself in the future and doesn't make her worry about my zombiefied body later down the line. She now knows I'm brown bread and wont risk coming back to put me out of my misery

There was a great discussion on Giant Bombs Game of the Year podcast about TWS Season 2 and how there is a good chance it wont replicate the shock of the first game due to never having to do certain moments for the first time again - eg. Shooting Duck

Part of me hopes to tie up Clems story and the other survivors in the sequel but at the same time focus on a new band of survivors.

Wasn't it meant to come out in December?

I can't imagine it being any cheaper on Disc than it is on download. I was going to wait like yourself but got it during the sale, I'd have happily paid full price for this after playing it.

Not sure, I don't think so. I just downloaded each chapter individually which didn't take that long. Keep them running in the background as you play Episode 1

The good thing about chapters as well is that if you don't like it you don't have to pay for the rest of them, meaning you've saved money

 Good point! I might download this later. Got so many games queued up but i LOVE point n click games and i love the show so this sounds right up my street.

Can i just check though, i only watch the show when the blu rays come out, so there wont be any spoilers for season 3 in the game will there? Thanks!

No spoilers for the show. This is pretty much self contained, although you do interact with some of the characters from Season 1 and 2 briefly but I believe it's before the 'show' timeline starts.

Not strictly true, I started the game before I started watching Season 2, and there is one rather large snippet of info they lay on you pretty quick in the game which the TV show doesn't reveal until near the end of the second series. Didn't spoil anything massively mind, and I'd suspected as much before hand anyway, but yeah, if you want to remain squeaky clean spoiler wise, watch Season 2 first, which DK already has anyway.

 Like DK I think i'll be downloading this (once i've renewed my Live Gold membership!)... apparently something called The Walking Dead:Survival is coming out on 360 at some point in 2013 but the date has changed about three times so far! I'm also pretty sure it's not the same game as the one we're currently discussing on this thread.

 I've renewed the Gold membership (was going to anyway!) and have downloaded and completed Eps 1 and 2... in fact, I downloaded Episode 2 tonight and completed it in one sitting. In short, it's excellent! Just bought some more points and will get Eps 3 and 4 downloaded tomorrow. It's renewed my faith in TWD and as i'm currently working my way through the S2 boxset (for the first time), it's not the slow snoozefest I gave up on in 2011 once you get rid of those adverts and watch the story play out in uninterrupted succession.

Anyway, as for the game there's a few blips, it's way too dark at times (despite brightness being set high) and there's the odd bug where characters wander when getting into position to play out a scene but overall, i'm loving it. The emotional connections in the game really take you along with the story and hark back to the emotive core of the graphic novel (something which the TV show has lost, at least in S2 apart from the odd scenes).

As for TWD: Survival I'm not a huge fan of FPS tbh so I probably won't bother with it. I'll just wait for Season 2 of this game!

 Oh I see MBeard. I got mine in game sale with 10quid off

Started episode 3. Still going strong. Also finally upto date with current run of walking dead on fox. Just seen episode 3 of season 3. I managed to get the game and show storylines mixed up!
