This just get's better and better. The relationship between Lee and Clementine is just so sweet. The makers of the actual show should take some tips on how to write children from the game makers, even Duck wasn't annoying this time. Bring on episode 4.

I did  the opposite actually...

Kenny was really getting on my nerves until the end...

Duck was actually ok this episode...

This episode seemed longer than the others and more substantial...I liked the reveal at the end, it makes things interesting...

I left her. There's no way I could forgive her for ruining the fact Lee was going to get his end away with Carley. I also killed Duck

Ben is really fucking annoying. I hope he gets it in the next episode. I liked the reveal at the end. This game keeps getting better and better.....

 Just finished part 2.
I've just stuck by Kenny the whole time and things have been working out well.
Killed Larry with Kenny. It had to happen man!
Was hedgin' my bets being nice to Lilly and Carley. But damn, Lilly is one crazy bitch.
I killed Danny with the pitch fork, but couldn't explain to myself why, then beat Andy to a pulp, but left him in the rain. Once again, I couldn't explain to myself why.
I think it's knowing that I have to explain all this stuff to Clementine which makes it hard to explain to myself rather than just playing on gut instinct.
I took all the stuff out of the car at the end of the episode. Someone blatantly left that there for the group all lit up like a great big Christmas tree.
Just waiting for episode 3 on the PS3...bad seeing other people playing it already.

 Seeing this thread rise to the top of the page reminded me that I'd downloaded the first episode but not yet played it.  So I decided to address that issue and I'm glad I did - I'm approx half way through it and it's been even more engrossing than I thought it would be.  I like the characters so far and they're rounded enough to make some of your life and death decisions even tougher to make - I know I'm gonna regret saving Duck at some stage!

Guess I know what my next 800 msp are going to be spent on!

what a game - the level of emotional investment is amazing and so unlike anything i have experienced before (though have come pretty close - dragonage KOTOR and mass effect spring to mind as well as FF7) but this one is by far the best game ive played this year, if ever, the introduction to this world in ep1, the shock and horror of ep2 (damn you kenny) and the sheer emotional double whammy of ep3 (damn you ,lily) has totally gripped me. definately recomend this to anyone floatting with the idea of getting this, definetely worth it, ep4 cant come soon enough!!!!

Bummer that the new episode isn't available for PS3 users in Europe.

I guess they have technical reasons, but it still seems a little idiotic.

Definitely my game of the year and possibly even further back. I can't remember anything that had made me question my own reactions and decisions so much. Played through Episode 4 last night and was surprised that I was in the minority for most of my choices, woke up this morning trying to justify them and wondering if I should rewind. Also wondering how Episode 5 will play out depending on the final few choices you have to make in Ep4.

 Potential spoilers for volume 1



I finished volume 1 last night. Thought it was great, they really make you feel your decisions. I got a real pang of guilt after Shawn and Doug died. Good to see that I was among the majority who saved the girl. I like that a few of the characters from the comic/show pop up. When Herschel mentioned there was a family of 3 in the barn, I kind of assumed it was Rick, Lori and Carl but I'm glad it wasn't. Great atmosphere, music, zombie violence, voice acting, the little girl is very good. Yeah, very good overall. I'll pick up the next volume.

Oh and I forgot to mention, the bit where you're hacking off your brother's head. Horrible. I wasn't expecting the game to be as emotional as it is.

Sure I may pick up part 2 tonight.

 Completed episode 4last night.

SPOILERS

The attic and burial was such a sad somber moment. I saved Ben, he maybe useless but he's not a twat and I just couldn't bring myself to drop him with that look on his face. Molly was a great new character just a shame she buggers off at the end. Crawford being all zombified just shows that you need to keep your humanity in this shitty undead world. Having to tell Clem that we wouldn't be able to look for her parents was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in a computer game. As everyone else has said this is game of the year for me and probably one of the best games I've ever played. Bring on episode 5.

That's because she dies if you don't take Clem to Crawford with you. Without Clem to save Molly, she gets bitten as you don't have a clear shot. It is the same with Lilly in the previous ep, you either abandon her after she kills Carley (who was always destined to die regardless) or she fucks off with the RV. I can only assume this means Molly won't be returning as for some players she is dead. Lilly can absolutely return, though.

It's a very clever but bloody harsh game.
