Introduce characters you care about ... who then further down the line ... become a burden\zombie\crazy\threat\useless ... and give you the choice whether to drag them along till things improve ... or to nip it in the bud and ... deal with them.

 1st Episode released this Friday for 400 msp. Im interested to see how much gameplay is in there and what the story is like.

I'll be trying it out.

 From the little go I had yesterday it seems quite good. A simple point and click with some quite tense bits. I quite like the style too, very comic book. It seems very short so it may be worthwhile to play all the episodes in one go.

PS Can TA-ers vote on my solution for chapter 2? I got all excited when I saw there were no guides up so rushed one on....its got a neg already!

 I downloaded the trial, I liked it enough to download the first episode at least. I'll see how I like that before deciding on future episodes. I certainly like the comic book feel and the fact that your actions are taken into account....

 Im rather enjoying this. Just like the books with slower bits then some very tense action. Ive read that choices you make now effect later episodes outcomes.

 Finished it

I thought it was great! The comic book feel was fantastic and the atmosphere is spot on. It's really character driven and you have to make some tough choices along the way. Going to play through it again tomorrow and make some different decisions this time to see how it changes things. The voice acting is great as well.

If you're a fan of the comics or the TV show this is a must buy....looking forward to the next installment now. How long do we have to wait between new releases?

 Its also nice to see some familiar characters in there too.

So far Ive found it to be one of the most emotional experiences Ive had in a videogame. The relationship you have with one of the characters has been spot on so far. The tension is also great but Im yet to die. So far so good.

 Would it be better to have read the comics and seen the second series of the TV show to fully appreciate this? I've only seen the first season of the TV show, but this game has piqued my interest

 Well I really enjoyed that. I hope that developers make some tough decisions with this like the player has to. I cant wait for the next episode.

It compliments the books and tv series really well so for those who like either/both I'd recommend picking these games up.

Also I liked the little comparable stats at the end

why wouldnt you give her the gun?

My major decisions were to save Duck then later to get the purse to the woman rather than save the nerdy guy. She proved her worth by knowing how to shoot a gun well but maybe his electronics knowledge may be missed later on.

As YFU said, I really hope some of the choices and interactions you make have some signifant outcomes in later episodes.

I chose to save Shawn because I thought he'd be more use than Duck (Yes I'm cruel!) I also chose to save the lass with the gun because with the geek out the way there's a chance I can get in her knickers

Mixture of cut-scenes (some interactive), dialogue choices and the occasional third person exploratory section.

I'd hesitate to call it a 'game' in the strictest sense, an interactive movie/short story would be a better description, the narrative is the real pull, actual gameplay is almost non-existent in truth.

 Yup, I agree with this ^

I think people will be really divided on the game (I already know the responses some posters would make).

Much more of an interactive story but still some of the events are quite exciting if you get into character.

Recently finished this, awesome game especially for 400mps. Clocked in at just over 2 hours for me. Some tough decisions too. Id say it's essentially heavy rain with zombies.

 Didn't even know this was out may give it a go for 400msp

EDIT.

Bought and completed it now. Thought it was a great little point and click adventure which had some excellent voice acting and seemed very cinematic. It kept all the zombie killing nice and original and when you had to choose who to save it felt like a genuinely tough choice which is a Hell of an achievement considering how little time you had to get to know the characters. Bring on episode 2.

 I was all set to buy this on Friday but balked at the 25E price tag....  for two hours gameplay??? Sod that Steam, just have to wait for it to go on sale.
