It's about time we heard about some progress on Rodriguez's proposed FIRE & ICE! The original Bakshi-animated film is a classic and ol' RR is definitely the guy who could do a live-action version and do it properly.

I would have thought Predators brought in more cash than Machete....

Seriously, he used to be such a promising film maker. Even a few years back we were being promised Nervewrackers, which sounded like he might finally move on from this self indulgent rubbish. Short of producing on the fairly decent if a little disappointing it wasnt better Predators what are his contributions recently.... The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D, Spy Kids 4, Shorts, Machete, Planet Terror (which i have a soft spot for but still).... I almost give up

iam a fan of most of his movies: from dusk til dawn, sin city, desperado, once upon a time in mexico and planet terror, hell even the spy kids movies were entertaining but saw the spy kids 4 trailer yesterday looks naff, stick to the adult movies but thats just my view.
