Could this be the nearest we get to a dream team of Brit actors?  Fantastic line up.  I'm looking forward to this BIG time.

That list of names at the end is just staggering - and then you realise that they didn't include the awesome Simon McBurney and Ciaran Hinds. Gold - pure and simple.

We all love Gary, and I have no doubt he will be all kinds of awesome, but Alec Guinness' Smiley was seminal and whenever I read the books, is was the face I pictured in my mind. Oldman will have his work cut out to get close.
Still, what a cast, great director, the footage looks amazing and I can't wait for it to come out! About bloody time says I. Now we just need the spy genre to be rediscovered and someone to come along and make films of Len Deighton's Game Set Match series. And then the next 6 after that

Christ on a bike, this looks beyond what you could dream of in the way of British talent.

Count me in, all kinds of awesome

I will be honest, never read the book nor seen the BBC version. But just looking at the comments alone, something tells me this is going to be one serious Brit movie. And with that cast line up, you'd be mad not to want to see it. After all, there is a reason we have such talented actors in our midst. No wonder America want to steal them from us.
