Octopussy is redeemed by a genuinely quite tense bomb scene. Tis a pity that Roger Moore is dressed as a clown, but that's Bond for you.

Big Bond fan here, and I'll agree with that. Good chase too. However, it's bugger-all on the disarming of the nuclear missile in The Spy Who Loved Me - now, that was a real nail-biter. "There has to be a first time for everything."

There's that bit in Batman Forever when Two-Face places that cartoony ticking bomb in the circus tent, and Dick Grayson pushes it into the sea (somehow).

Thanks very much. That question has bugged me for a couple of years ever since I last saw "Blown Away" because my memory had told me it was Jeff Bridges diffusing the bomb and then it turned out it wasn't.

Was it GOLDFINGER or OCTOPUSSY when Bond defuses the bomb and the final reading is 007?

more bond time bombs in 'living daylights' and 'view to a kill'- these actually went off in the end.
