Yes, Yes it did die- I had a project to finish on a deadline and didn't have the time.

I did get somebody to take over, but it appears that that didn't work out well.

Mind you, as I'm looking for work, it's not like I'm massively busy at the moment. Time for a Reboot?

I'll have a look at the rules and see if anything needs a tweak, then get it up and running.

OK so this is getting a reboot. I've made a change in the rules, specifically the use of Photoshop. It is now limited to cropping and global edits (edits that are applied to the whole picture, not one little part of it) and instead of the 1 winner and 10 bonus points it's going to have the scoring system of F1.

points structure is in the first post.

I'll set up a thread for the first round when I can think up a fun theme.

Right quite a successful 1st round was had by all, I've updated to OP to show the championship point standings.

one thing I was wondering was, to get more people entering the competition if a few people would put a link to this thread in their sigs - I don't really post above the "on another note" fold, except in Knowledge Base - so it might get more visibility that way.


oh and i'm just waiting for a new theme from Jon, then we can get the next round started.

OK I've updated the OP with this months points - we've got a new leader, with HobbitonLass capitalising on a strong finish last month and a joint 2nd with fellow mod Homer.

Now we just need a new theme for this months competition from LastMemories and we're good to go for the next one

Results as it stands are...

=Chief wiggum -30pts
4 Gingerdaniel - 26pts
5-= Jon5000 - 25pts
=Sharkboy -25pts
Hozay -25 pts
6-HomerSimpson_esq -20.5pts
7- Hubu_Phonk -12pts
8 - PocketRocket -11 point
9= Mojo -6pts
= King of Kafiristan -6pts


So HobbitonLass is still far out in front, but not so far as to be unbeatable yet, and if anything this proves that winning a round is not key to winning the competition

Updated the points totals - starting to see some difference between entrants now but it's still extremely close with 25 points seperating 1st and 7th place.

To post photos, you need an account with a photo storing site like Photobucket, then you type [image] URL of image from outside site [/image] without gaps. Hope this helps
