Cleared all the 50cc tracks last night with 3 stars and had a go on 100/150cc as well.... Absolutely cracking game. Some really great new tracks and nice updates to old fav; Wario Stadium .

Graphically it is full of character and looks and runs superb... So many nice touches around. It could do with some AA to smooth out some edges, but at full pelt on the TV you don't really notice so much.

The Highlight reels are nicely done and help with some great screen grab opportunities ...But I do think that these will work better for between friends as with all the replays out there they start to look the same a bit due to all these angles and cuts. Maybe would of been nicer to have a bit more depth to the editor so you could choose the normal race view and then switch to these action cuts when you wanted.

Looking forward to getting back to it and trying out some multiplayer action!

Picked it up this morning. Will get cracking on it ASAP. Also got Wind Waker downloading too. Excellent promotion, 2 games for the price of one.

It's great, isn't it? I would've preferred some of the older tracks remain slightly more the same, but the overhaul is just as fun. It looks great and I'm looking forward to racing against friends and real people. I've got almost all stars on the 50cc, but got blue shelled right towards the end of Piranah Pipe or whatever it's called. Still tinkering with kart types, but haven't unlocked everything yet.

Uploaded a video, just to give it a whirl - http://youtu.be/un-NEVaLlX8

I've been playing MK8 more than is healthy. Online races are so addictive. Love playing manic 12 player 150cc races. This game is just brilliant. Nintendo have made some of their best games for this machine.

It really is great isn't it... Loving MK8.

I've unlocked all the characters now but still working on 3 Starring all the tracks. Done a bit of online racing with iMarkyP the other day, so much fun!

I'm finding getting 3 stars on everything a bit of a pain. Especially when you get shelled on the last corner or by the finish line and fucking Donkey Kong zips passed with his stupid fucking face...

Or something like that.

I'm glad there's more of a balance with the vehicles this time. On MKWii, I'd just choose Mii with the bike and I'd win every time. This one is at least consistently inconsistent, particularly when playing on line.

He he, that Luigi being a dick thing is quite funny. I like that you can slow down replays, enabling the capture of stuff like that.
