Barca nicking 16 year old Elliott Kebbie from Leeds. Bastards.

Can't blame the lad but the fact we get nowt for a player we've developed since the age of 8 is quite frankly sickening.

If Football Manager has thought me anything you should get 1-2 million in compensation.

Hmm. Does that apply if the club getting him is foreign? Did Arsenal pay anything for Fabregas?

I'm sure if there is anyway of getting cash for him Ken Bates will know of it

EDIT: Just read the club has retained the right to compensation should he ever sign a professional contract.

Didn't he play for Doncaster? Seem to remember his name cropping up a fair bit on Soccer Saturday for goals for them, could be a different Heffernan though.

What I want to know is our Killie competing in the Joma SW trophy this year? I watched them play Blackpool last summer in it at one of our tiny grounds down here, was a very entertaining game of footie for a fiver.

Maybe compensation would be Bojan in on loan.  At least he's not been nicked by Chelsea which is the way things normally go...

the same Heffernan...was at Sheff Wed last season I think. As far as I know we arent in that little tournament this year. I know a few lads who went down to those matches (cant remember the other game we played) and they said it was a good trip. Both Killie and Blackpool played some good stuff last season. We've lost the majority of the side now, so its a rebuilding job, but thats the way our club has to be run now, with players coming in, doing well and moving on. We must have raked in about 2million from the sales of Sammon to Wigan and Bryson to Derby...which is a helluva lot for us (and pretty much every team in Scotland outwith the OF)

I'd be very surprised if that's his flat weekly fee as Utd could've surely got him for a lot less

Find it very strange, no one has gone for Matt Upson given he is available on a free transfer

Probably because he's shit.

He'd be a good replacement for Carragher though...

Worse thing for you is that Upson is somehow better than Squillaci.

But a one-legged pensioner with severe cataracts is most likely better than Squillaci. I'm sure he must have a wonderful personality though.

Upson is a lot of things, but shite aint one of them. Fine, you might not like him, maybe he stole your girlfriend/dog/sandwich but come on!
As for Given, agreed. What an amazing keeper. Thought Man U would have gone for him. Anyway.
ON a different note, I transferred Suarez out of my team cos he wasn't supposed to be playing. Doh! And Kuyt didn't start!! And Kelly didn't even play. God fur damme

I think Utd had decided some time ago to go for de Gea. No chance City would have sold Given to them. Maybe the same goes for Spurs and Arsenal, but it looks increasingly like Arsenal and City will be doing business for Nasri. Anyhow, Villa's gain I'd say.

Can I just say, with regards to the fantasy footy league, can someone send me a massive face-palm please? Half my players were sent off and the ones I transfered out cos they weren't supposed to be playing all scored. Doh, doh and thrice doh!!

Could have been worse. You could have spent 19M on de Gea

Agree 100%. I mean whats going on there - they sign Goodwillie and want Raul, there's a colossal difference between the two! No wonder the great man turned them down even if it was a chance to play in the Prem. I can only see one thing happening to Blackburn this season and thats them getting relegated.
