Watched Fast Five on Blu-ray last night and it's still as awesome as it was at the Cinema. The Rock really does steal the film, Hobbs is such badass. Ending needs cutting off though, I didn't need to see them all spending the money when it obvious they got away with it, natural end for me would have been...

"Toretto, I'll see you soon"

"No you won't"

That in my head is much cooler than what we got...Anyway, Gave the special features a watch too and apart from the usual "Oh yeah, he was a total ROCKSTAR!!" crap, they were quite cool. The little vault van is fucking aces. It's good to see practical effects used on such a large scale, it would have been so easy to go CG for that sequence. A bit more in depth stuff on the stunts would've been nice though...

So apparently the storyline for Fast 6 is so big they are making Fast 7 back to back with it.Well if they are as good as Fast 5 then bring them on!

SPOILERS FOR FAST 5 POST CREDITS SCENE..

It will be great to see Eva Mendes AND Michelle Rodriguez in Fast 6.Hopefully they have a no holds barred cat fight.Meow!

One more thing, i know it's a long shot but i think everyone should vote for Dwayne Johnson for best actor and Fast Five for best film at the Jameson Empire Awards 2012 http://www.empireonline.com/awards2012/ U know shake things up a little instead of the usual people that get nominated for awards and fingers crossed if His Rockness wins, u never know he may show up, collect the award in person and Rock Bottom someone!! Come on guys and gals make it happen

How about the villain from 2 Fast 2 Furious played by Cole Hauser? He seemed very smug and confidant that he would get out of prison to get revenge on O'Connor and Tyrese at the end of that film.

As for The Rock getting best actor, come on,aint gonna happen! I really like Dwayne but hes not going to win any acting awards for doing his usual bad ass routine.

I want them to bring Cole Hauser back as well. Especially as They say they know he'll get out (of jail) at the end of 2 Fast. It would also help make 2 Fast more relevant to the franchise as a whole (although bringing Tyrese did that to a degree anyway)

With Monica Fuentes returning,it would make sense to bring back the 2 Fast villain as well.

Yeah it would be great to see some of the old faces back in it. The twist at the end of Fast Five was outstanding, I always thought it was a major fuckup getting rid of Letty. It was also a bit sad seeing Vince Killed off as well.

Fast Five was massively over the top and a lot of it was ridiculous but it was so much fun it blew away all the doubts. The bit when Dom and Brian go over the cliff and we get that shot directly below them following their fall was amazing.

In terms of ranking the movies I would go like this :

1. The Fast and the Furious
2. Fast Five
3.2 Fast 2 Furious
4. Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift
5. Fast and Furious

By the way anyone seen Turbo Charged Prelude which is a completely pointless wordless 6 minute film set directly after The Fast and The Furious detailing Brian O'Connors run across the US from the cops making cash winning races...

I watched this again last night, and have to agree completely with this.

Anyway, the film itself is still brilliant beyond words. I forgot just how mental the final chase is.

I was reading through an article on the Empire site that Jason Statham's next movie will start shooting early next year and it seems that the only rumoured film he will do this year is Fast Six.

U's think he will be the main villian, teaming up with Hobbs or joining Dom's crew? Your thoughts.

I've only seen the 1st one (enjoyable), the 2nd one (poor) and Fast 5 (outstanding) - if they keep churning 'em out on a par with 5 I'll happily line up to watch the latest instalments.
