Finished the story with the lad yesterday. It's pretty much perfect. Looking forward to roaming Middle Earth and then a second run through of the levels.

The upside of playing this game is that the lad is now super interested in LOTR and we can watch the movies together.

The downside (kind of!) is that i've had to fork out a furtune for the actual Lego for his birthday in a couple of weeks....

Best Lego game so far though....

I'm splitting my time just now between my second run through of levels, then completing quests with the items I find. Great game.

I'm still loving it, but some of the precision jumping quest are doing my head in. Changing camera angles, Gollum randomly jumping off walls, dodgy collision detection, water sending you back to the beginning. All getting me close to throwing the controller into the TV. The worst is when you climb high, swap character, but it selects the second character instead. By the time you switch back your first character has jumped to the bottom again.
.

That was driving me mental at one point, trying to climb up Mount Doom (I think) to get a block. Kept falling all the way back to the bottom.

Between that and trying to use Gandalf's magic I'm surprised I've got any hair left.

What is the actual position for the blocks in Rivendell?

I'm currently free roaming collecting bricks and doing quests. Such a great game, one of the best games I've played as I've enjoyed it so much but this is by far the worst (and only) thing about it. I got so pissed off trying to climb Mount Doom that I gave up and decided to go back to it later. The climbing quests are a pain in the arse.

Just spent three hours plodding around Middle Earth to 8-bit music (which is genius!). Then I used the 'Disco Phial', that mashup is one of the funniest things I've seen/heard in a game for years. You certainly get your moneys worth with Lego games and this has been really enjoyable to play, I'm 75% done but can see myself playing this with the lad for years to come it's so enjoyable.

Im playing Lego City Undercover and loving it.

Ok its not perfect, there is a lot of driving and the controls for the fighting seem a bit random but its vary varied, VERY funny and HUGE. The city is massive and will take a long time tofully complete everything.

For example, early on in the game I found this large white box, did everything to it but nothing happened. A quick look on YouTube showed it contains an alien which you have to capture when your in the Astronaunt costume. I didnt even know there was an Astronaunt costume!

The game looks amazing as well
