After such a big pay packet from doing the film 'Passport To Pimlico', Keifer Sutherland was able to afford to  travel round India for several years under the alias of Ghandi. After the money dried out he faked his death and returned to acting a few years later.

Bobcat Goldthwait's real love is Shakespear. He started out on stage doing A Midsummer Nights Dream where Sir Ian McKellen discovered his talent and made him the real star of the Police Academy movies (they were all secretly funded by Sir Ian).

James Dean was purely a figment of people's imagination.

Nick Nolte is made entirely out of crayola stubs.

Tobey Maguire has never exhaled.

Predator is inspired by actual events.

Darren Aronofsky is Stanley Kubrick in disguise.

Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman are the same person.

Keanu Reeves refuses to watch his own films, because Samuel L Jackson told him (as a joke) that the Keanu Reeves he sees on screen will lunge out and eat him

The first draft of Alien was a romantic comedy and Jennifer Aniston was to travel back in time to star in it

It's been decided that the new Snickers commercial with Mr T will win all next year's oscars

Johnny Depp isn't really Johnny Depp

Triple H's performance in Blade Trinity was actually so good it made the rest of the film look shit. In reality Blade Trinity is not only better than Blade 1 and 2, it might actually be the greatest piece of cinema ever made

After making Big Trouble in Little China John Carpenter was hit in the head with a spanner and has lost the ability to swim, and make good films

On a drunken night in, Kevin Spacey dared Joel Schumacher to make Batman and Robin shit on purpose

Jim Carrey really is God, no special effects were used in Bruce Almighty

The film '12 Angry men' is based on a little known Stephen King novella entitled 'A dozen humourous fellows' about a troupe of clowns living in Maine. The actor Jack Quincy Klugman demanded changes to the script during filming as he deemed it "too silly"

The title of Star Wars: A New Hope, had to be changed in Turkmenistan as it literally translates as 'Big fat cock'

Christopher Walken initially turned down his role in The Deer Hunter as director  Michael Cimino wanted him to speak his lines without using vowels. Cimino relented and Walken took the part, he still maintains to this day that Michael Cimino is a Fckng Cnt.

Mr T once ate 19 pounds of fudge in one sitting.

Marky Mark has no shadow. The Funky Bunch were originally employed to distract public attention away from the area where the shadow should have been.

The man James Bond is chasing in the parkour scene in Casino Royale is actually Morgan Freeman.

Danny Dyer was up for a job in Easterenders, but they said he was just too cockney.

All scripts for Danny Dyer vehicles have to be adapted so that his character learns nothing by the end.  This is because Danny has a rare disease that has stopped him learning anything new since he was 13.

Kurt Russell's uses his hair as a sail.

No matter where break The Rock, it says the word 'hard'.

Bette Davis used to write for Just 17.

Brandon Lee was the original choice for James Bond, but soon cracked under the pressure.  He consequently faked his death on the set of The Crow and now makes a living as a call centre worker for the National Accident Helpline.

The original script for Karate Kid had a young Italian-American mentored by a gruff Geordie. The script was only re-written when the Studio got cold feet about the level of violence in Daniel's dramatic victory, wherein he glasses his opponent.

Mel Gibson's real name is Mel Goldberg-Kauffman-Cohen, but he was forced to change his surname after a firm of accountants with the same name threatened to sue him.  The same firm of accountants later bankrolled a porno movie called 'Lethal Weapon', providing Gibson his own opportunity to sue them back. On the night of his anti-semetic outburst, Gibson had discovered that he had lost his claim for infringement of copyright against Goldberg-Kauffman-Cohen and that his old "friend" Danny Glover had actually agreed to star alongside Ron 'The Hedgehog' Jeremy and Sheryl 'Sugar Tits' Silverman in the porno movie in question. The cause of Gibson's erractic driving on the night in question was not, as was widely reported, alcohol, but the fact that he was being tailed by a mohawked Freddy Mercury lookalike who Gibson had earlier caught attempting to syphon petrol from his car.

George Lucas often drops-in at good friend Quentin Tarantino's house and helps to re-write his "wooden" dialogue.

One of George Clooney's "hilarious" on-set pranks killed a grip during the filming of 'Ocean's Twelve'. The only witness to the death was Corey Feldman, who helped Clooney to dispose of the body. Feldman has since blackmailed Clooney into bankrolling a number of his old script ideas.

Steven Segal actually lost his legs in a fight with a homeless man in 1997. A combination of his Buddhist faith and clever editing (wherein he is always filmed from the waist up), has allowed Segal to continue pumping out straight-to-video action movies.

Tony Jaa has, to date, been offered 42,000 Hollywood roles. Only one of these did not contain a character synopsis that described his intended role as "silent Asian bodyguard". He eventually lost out on the other role to Lucy Liu.

Samuel L Jackson actually stars in every film ever made.

If you watch Titanic on DVD 56 times in a row, a new scene appears where Leo survives.

Ace Ventura Pet Detective is a documentary

The reason John Carpenters The Thing doesnt have any women in is because Kurt Russell has an illogical phobia of them

The original script for Ronin included an alternate ending, where the case contained Marcellus Wallace's soul.

Switchblade Romance is a documentary.

Ke Huy Quan (Short Round) didn't advance in Hollywood, as Steven Spielberg did not forgive him for his affair with Kate Capshaw on the set of Temple of Doom.

Transformers: The Movie was originally 5 hours long, but the subplot in which Optimus Prime had to battle through the underworld was cut.  This subplot was later adapted into Robin Williams cheeseball What Dreams May Come.

As CGI technology was not advanced enough to cope with his rigorous standards, Steven Speilberg genetically engineered, grew and raised an entire island of dinosaurs for the filming of Jurassic Park.

They still live on his private island in the Pacific, which is where the popular series 'Lost' is being filmed. So far, six different members of the cast and crew have been killed and eaten in dinosaur attacks on the set. J. J. Abrahams had to write out Boone and his sister to accomodate their untimely deaths, and Kate has been replaced by two different actresses after the original and her replacement were mauled by 'raptors in unrelated attacks.

Tom Cruise is actually one-eighth jack russel terrier.

The Scary/Date/Epic (etc...) Movie franchise is actually funded by middle eastern terrorists. This was their most cunning plot since 9/11 and yet there is no end in sight.

For the strip scenes in Striptease, Demi Moore wouldn't show her naked body for less than $3 million. As the producers didn't want to pay her this amount for each scene, they used a naked Al Gore as a body double.

In POTC: At Worlds End, The scenes in which we see Johnny Depp in multiple persnalities are actually real. Including the tiny ones.  David Bowie raises them on a ranch in Dakota. The original JD live on a mountain near by, in charge of the whole operation.

Judge Reinhold is made entirely of mint choc chip ice cream.

In reality Sean Penn found his cameo in Team America: World Police hilarious and phones Matt Stone and Trey Parker every fortnight to quote the lines his puppet says in the film. This phonecall is always 'signed off' by Sean Penn shouting "Kerplla", like he does in the film, to which the South Park duo shout back the same phrase. Stone and Parker claiming Penn phoned them up to complain and rant at them for taking the piss, therefore portraying himself as a humourless tit, is actually a little in-joke between them.

Also, for his character, Kim Jong-Ill lent his own vocal talents to the film, but goes uncredited in end titles.

George Lucas is alergic to weekends.

Gloria Swanson had "love" and "hate" tattooed on her fingers.

Alan Arkin drinks lava.

Porky's 2: The Next Day was actually directed by Akira Kurasawa, a lifelong fan of Dan Monahan. Bob Clark took the credit during a game of "Connect 4".

Kevin Spacey's bones are hollow. He weighs only 4 stone and if he falls, he dies.

Contrary to popular belief, Ghandi stars only one person - Sir Dickie himself - but was directed by half a million different people.

Cool Hand Luke is the only movie to be shot entirely on location in space.

Michael J. Fox triggered the Sobastopol Uprising.

The kid out of the Sixth Sense (not Willis, the other one), can be seen in various scenes with a wafer in his pocket. If you look closely you can see him carrying a 'Gold', a 'Taxi' and a 'Blue Riband'. It is purported that this was his method of tempting the dead out of hiding. Cunning.

Daniel Craig is actually Pierce Brosnan in make-up, as part of an elaborate prank played on the fans by Barbara Broccoli.

The man we know as Marlon Brando is, in fact, an immortal.  He changes his appearance every 50 years to avoid suspicion.  In the past, he was Joan of Arc, Michaelangelo, Bonnie Prince Charlie and Amelia Earhart.  He is now known as Shia LeBoeuf.
