In the year 2028 James Cameron was due to have found himself a bankrupt real estate developer. A long-time friend and part-time inventor called Brownie Emmett showed Cameron something called 'time displacement equipment' (inspired by Cameron�s time travel device mentioned in The Terminator). Acting on a whim that only a true megalomaniac would entertain, Cameron used himself as a guinea pig and travelled back to 1912 where he decided to detonate a small charge in a glacier in the north Atlantic. The glacier fragmented and subsequently a huge iceberg drifted right into the path of an ocean liner making its maiden voyage. The subsequent disaster was then filmed by Cameron (draped in the corpse of a walrus for both disguise and warmth) from his nearby rowing boat. He then travelled to 1997 leaving the film in a container marked 'Titanic - Lost Footage' on the desk of his own 1997 office, allowing his 1997 self to make a film version of the events and thus financially securing him for the future.

The only other person to know about this is Robert Zemeckis who used this whole shameless debacle as the basis for Back To The Future II.

Independance Day was actually directed by Ed Wood in the 50s, it was delayed for decades because the Holywood axecs thought it was too violent for the current 50s audience. And it was put on colour.

Evil Dead is a true story, in fact an average of 134 women get raped by trees every year. It's very sad actually.

Robert Downey Jr is in fact black... he has just "whited up" for all his roles... unfortunately he became so immerrsed in his charecters that he forgot he was black and so "blacked up" for tropic thunder and is now somewhat confused....

Christopher Lloyd has neither a left arm or leg. They are construced before each take using a combination play-doh and plaster of paris and moved with animatronics and puppetry controlled by whatever catering staff are hired for each movie.

Eddie Murphy is a fantastic method actor and piled on the pounds for his roles in the Nutty Professor and its sequal. Accusations that he wore a fat suit drove him into a spiral of depression and self loathing causing him to seek out scripts such as Pluto Nash and Meet Dave just to spite himself.

Judge Reinhold is the God of Thunder.

Steve Gutenberg invented Jelly but refuses to take credit for it as he fears the spirit of the Jelly King will seek revenge. Its not entirely certain why he thinks this or who the Jelly King was.

Tom Selleck no longer has a mostache as it filed for divorce in 1998 citing Selleck's penchant for rubbing it with live oysters as grounds for the split. The mostache won half of all Seleck's posesions and now has a bit part role on 'my name is earl'.

Tom Cruise is not short. Your sense of perspective is whats wrong.

John Williams can't conduct or even play an instrument. In fact he's tried to play the triangle before but keeps holding it wrong causing a 'thudding' noise. He's just really good at humming tunes.

Tony Scott and Ridley Scott are one and the same. They originated when the orignal Scott split in two - a result of a rift in the time space continuum caused by Beverely Hills Chihuahua winning best picture oscar in 2009. They are in complete denial of this and believe themselves to be brothers or quite possibly cousins. If they ever occupy the same space it will cause Whoopi Goldberg to implode.

Sharon Stones beaver scene in Basic Instinct is fake. They used shaved "downy-fluff" from Michael Douglas' arse instead.

Steven Spielbergs favourite film of all time is 'Tranformers'. He fucking loves it and said in an interview that 'Schlinders List' was supposed to have the look of 'Transformers', he then sighs!

Martin Scorseses favourite film of all time is either 'Rambo' or the british film 'Nuns On The Run'. He has never given his reasons why.

The reason for this was that having been raised up from the rancid and fetid fluids of a cloning vat discovered in the abandoned laboratory beneath the Epcot centre it was noted that the nurtient tube was attached enema style. The Iron Man suit in the film was in reality fully functional and Downey Jr was actually inserted into Afghanastan in order to film the middle east aspect of the film. He took this idea of film stars inserted into a real war environment and pitched the idea of Tropic Thunder.

the film 300 was comprised entirely of japanese newspaper pictures and sausage roll wrappers, collaged with this industrial glue-like substance, that changes in stickiness in proportian to the amount of termites in the vicinity. This subsequently created some bizzare images and a film that is arguably the worst thing thats ever happened to cinema
