I think you're right.
I hadn't noticed at first, but it does look like a cat's eye.

A great first image to release. When I read on twitter that the phot had been released, I was worried it might be too spoilery but I need'nt have. It's very evocative and Bane looks completely ripped but still realistic. Love it!

great pic. exactly the same as the first image of the joker released for the dark knight, enough but not too much, i was an avid follower of the whysoserious viral campaign last time so can't wait for this one to take off,

Bane looks brilliant! Good to know Nolan is steering well clear of the Joel S version.

As for the cats eye, now that you mention it I can see it, but I wondered whether it would be a pinhole view from a cell door.
Baring in mind it takes a lot to keep Bane locked down.
But having zoomed in on that I'd be amazed if that didn't turn out to be a cats eye.

Wow. That is one cool teaser there. Can't wait for the film. By th way can anyone else see/or tell what the two lights are. I think it could either be a camera since i remember somthing my sister said about people hirrering Bane after seeing him on film or cats eye. It could also just be my imageingation in over drive.
