I like the tone and the concept of shifting an alien invasion to realistic low key settings. What I'm not feeling is making all the gang hoodies! I think the film would have far more appeal if the kids were not all from the street or were in varying degrees. Just dont like glorifying kids with this state of mind and should show the spectrum of youth specifically of colour as not everyone dresses and talks that way. But these films would have you thinking otherwise...
