Vad3r, you may have missed the fact there is a sub-forum in this section? That's where threads that exist just to post cheesecake shots and lech over young actresses (which isn't sexism, but the normal way round in there - often the word actress is used in the loosest possible definition) go.

She's my favourite actress ever since I saw her in Veronica Mars which was last year. Try Pulse, You Again and Fan Boys she's just as good in them as well.

Never found her attractive. Can't say she's a bad actress though, I liked her in Heroes.

She's always good value on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She seems one of those who's career has never hit great heights for some indefinable reason, since she's a decent actress, charming and attractive.

I haven't been this disappointed since I clicked on your link yesterday expecting to hear your lovely voice over my favourite animated film ever, and instead was greeted by the sound of four rather annoying Americans talking over each other.

What about this one?

The chemistry between those two is magic. Best guest he's ever had on the show, and no wonder she's on there so often.
I would say her career never reached the heights of say Amy Adams, because unlike Amy the films she's chosen to participate in have been poor and shown no progression to more adult material.
Her acting potential is certainly there though, as shown in Veronica Mars. And she has a charming, warm personality. Something which very few actresses possess.

Hey, don't go dissing the DIFers, those guys rock. And I'm Scottish, I don't have a lovely voice.

You can post as many photos of her as you like (that is the point of the thread is it not?) it won't make me change my mind, I don't find her attractive at all. I haven't insulted her (or you) and we are all different people with different tastes.

Oh, and I think Alison Brie is cute, does that help?

I don't, no. I actually know her through all the pictures and gifs you posted, lol. She was in Scream 4 though (as was Miss Bell) and she was cute (if annoying) in that.

(and I know you were jesting, it was faux annoyance )

What can I do to convince you to watch the show?

11.76 delivered from the UK < You won't be disappointed. It contains Joss Whedon style humour and references to movies and TV. It has Alison Brie and Chevy Chase, which should be enough to make you want to watch it.
At least try and get hold of the episode ''Modern Warfare'' (paintball episode) to watch online. And if you like that watch the rest of it, or buy the awesome dvd which contains cast commentary on every episode and even a free comic book.

I don't watch the show because I don't have the channel it was shown on over here. It does sound like something I may like and if I get the chance to, I will.

I do like that Kristen Bell 'kissy' photo above, by the way

You see? There's no such thing as not finding Kristen Bell attractive. It's just a matter of finding the right photo for the man in question.

In another life...

I still don't see it, just thought the kissing photo was cute. She has a nice bum, though.

What? Don't judge me!

She is one of those charismatic actresses who actually come across as a nice person.

Her Late Late Show interviews with Craig Ferguson are some of the highlights.

elab If I was to start a thread in Actors and Auteurs for an actress (Felicia Day for example), and I was to keep the pictures tasteful, fully clothed and nothing explicit of course, would that be allowed? I just want to make sure.

It's not the post with pictures per se - it's just if it is solely to pass back and forth pics so the sole interest in the thread is the how the person looks - then it's an Object of Desire.

There's absolutely nothing to stop you posting pics of an actress who you admire as an actress, and also happen to find attractive, and start a thread to discuss her work.

For some reason I thought she had a thread, though?

LOVE her, not only in the fact the fact that I find her attractive, but she's also a great actress and comes across as a generally charming and nice person, shame about some of her movie choices though.

She does appear to have become trapped in the Rom Com nightmare.

That and the nightmare that she is shacked up with Dax Shepard, the lucky git.

Btw, how do I see Craig Ferguson's show in the UK? I though it was only broadcast on CBS in the states.

I watch them on youtube.
She's both talented and attractive. She has a new TV series coming out soon called House of Lies with Don Cheadle.
