I'm taking if with a grain of salt but yes I'm very happy indeed, even if season 4 hasn't been quite as good as the previous three.

Interesting to note that if Chuck is only 22 episodes away from reaching the magic 100 episode mark that all shows strive for as it allows them to be syndicated. That's where the real money comes in, so maybe that's the thinking behind the decision.

Yeah, early word was wrong. Harry's Law has been given a secon season, though. And Parenthood has been renewed too.

And word is that Breaking In may actually get a sceond chance after all. Probably bollocks though.

Can't say I'm bothered about any of the cancelled shows. They weren't anything special and had poor ratings, no shock cancellations this year.

Glad Chuck survived pending doom once again.

REM's been renamed Awake but has been picked up by NBC. Also on NBC will be Grimm and - they really want a piece of that '60s Mad Men action - The Playboy Club.

Because it's the highest rated comedy in America.  Be interesting to see the show with a different lead actor.

Probably The Playboy Club might also be renamed just to appeal to a wider audience, hope it stays the same though

yes but that was because of Charlie Sheen's real life shenanigans, and sure the first few episodes of season 9 are going to be high raters because of the new lead, but it might start losing fans after that, even though I don't watch the show I dont really mind Ashton Kutcher so I would also be interested to see where the show goes.

No it's been the highest rated US comedy for years.  I think they're paying Kutcher too much money though - one million an episode.  Charlie Sheen waited years before earning that.

I'm not shocked about any of them being axed. A bit surprised at Happy Endings getting renewed, though, I didn't think it was doing that much better. Oh well.

V had it's flaws but I would have liked a short third season to have seen where they were going with it. Especially after their season 2 finale.

wow the cancellations and renewal news is coming thick and fast, Im really excited now that some big decisions are being made. Glad that V got cancelled, dont really mind the show yet I always hated the fact that this got renewed over FlashForward last year. Im watching Better With You on 5* at the moment and it is dire glad they decided to put it out of its misery.

However I was looking forward to watching Mr. Sunshine looked good from the promos and good news for Happy Endings, I've been enjoying the show so far, its not great but its fun.

Bit of a surprise to see V cancelled (not that I'm bothered). So that leaves Fringe, Eureka and Warehouse 13 as the only sci fi shows left on TV? Be interesting to see the reception of the sci-fi shows to emerge this year.
