Breaking Bad S3 is released on R1 DVD and Blu Ray June 7. The R2 date hasn't been confirmed yet, but shouldn't be too long after the R1 release. It's a popular show over here.

Is it popular over here? I've barely heard of it. It didn't get a decent showing so I assume hardly anyone has seen it. Plus, Five no longer own the rights to it, so season 3 is drifting out there somewhere waiting for someone to show it.

And as Cynic said, its usually after a show has been on on tv that we get the dvds.....

It gets a lot of response on Amazon and HotUKDeals (obviously not from the 90210 crowd). So I assume It's popular.

You've not heard of Breaking Bad?? It's an outstanding drama series, this and Dexter are best non-HBO drama I've ever seen. Bryan Cranston won the Emmy for outstanding actor in a drama series three consecutive years for his performance as Walter White (a middle-aged chemistry teacher is diagnosed with cancer and starts cooking crystal meth). The show is HIGHLY acclaimed by critics and people who enjoy quality, gritty, dark drama.

Watch the show!

I've also been looking forward to The Office, I've been hoping that Comedy Central repeat from season 1 but I dont think that will be likely as they are soon going to start airing the latest season.

First three seasons for 15.93 <

Just be warned that the S1 is definitely the worst, after that it's just amazing.

Waiting for new seasons of Smallville, Supernatural and Medium to start. And the rest of BBT. But haven't a clue of any start dates. Any web searches on these shows just bring up spoilers - as the US are so far ahead (especially Smallville). Grrr.

That doesn't really mean it's popular though, does it? It's just a few folk that have bought the dvd

I said I've barely heard of it. I knew it starred the dad from Malcolm in the Middle and it was about drugs. That's it, I didn't really have the chance to watch it on the tv. And I very very rarely blind buy.

Wasn't Medium's last season aired last year on Living?

Before the US? I think it was season 6 that aired on Living last year the final season is the seventh. I think anyway, I could be wrong.

It's on Fiver/Fiver US or whatever it's called. I think it might be on FX too but I'm not sure. Definitely worth checking out.

FX no longer have the rights (if you'd read my post above, you'd know that ) and I don't have FX. Or Five/FIVEUSA/Five *. I may see it at some point but it doesn't really sound like my thing to be honest

There is a serious lack of Sci-Fi shows on air at the moment. Stargate: Universe, Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse were all cancelled in quick succession. There's Fringe (awesome), V (decent) and also Warehouse 13 and Sanctuary, but I have no idea why they've not been cancelled and others were. Mediocre reviews and hardly anyone watches them.

There's some great fantasy shows like True Blood, Supernatural and Game Of Thrones on air to make up for the lack of Sci Fi.

Good to know there's a lot of promising Sci-Fi/fantasy shows headed our way soon from big names (Spielberg, Abrams, Nolan, Ron Moore, Orci/Kurtzman, David Greenwalt, Kevin Williamson etc.)

Apologies, it was on the previous page and must have slipped my mind. What kind of shows are you into other than Doctor Who?

Dont worry Shifty Im with you when it comes to Doctor Who, I was initially starting to lose interest but since series 5 Moffat has injected a whole lot of cool back into the series helped of course by Matt and Karen.

In renewal news, The Borgias has been renewed for a second season of 10 episodes.
Showtime commented that - ''the Borgias‘ debut gave Showtime its best premiere ratings for a drama series in seven years.''

I love Tennant but Smith is awesome. And I've been a fan of Moffat as a writer since his Press Gang days.

Actually Warehouse 13 is Syfy's highest rated long running series (ie not including mini-series) ever.

I'm surprised by that given how bland and generic it is.

Don't care about the others, but I hope this goes on for as long as possible.

Such an underrated show. It's easily just as good if not better than Buffy.

Think I watched about the first 10 episodes of series 1 and lost interest in it.

Do you watch Fringe Jedi? It's the best Sci-Fi show on TV and WAY better than Warehouse 13. It's produced by JJ Abrams/Lost people and is similar to The X-Files.

Hmm, starting to lose interest in Fringe (season 3) It started off great but there's too many stand alone stories and not enough about the main arc.  It's dragging in parts.  Walter is still an epic character though.

Vad3r.  Supernatural is no where near as good as Buffy IMO.

Season one ripped off old horror films
Season two was slightly better.
Season three and four were great
Season five was starting to slip again (hated all the religious stuff)

Glad Vamp diaries and 90210 have been renewed (I need to watch s3 still)

Still not seen S3 yet (will pick up the Blu Ray once It's released).

Hasn't Fringe always been a monster of the week show like say.....Buffy? It has a main arc running through it that is explored more towards the end of the season (like most of these type of shows).

I thought S1 was the weakest season (although I thought they were paying homage to classic horrors rather than ripping them off). S4 in all honesty is better than any season of Buffy.

*note it may come across like I'm dissing Buffy, but I assure everyone I'm a Whedonite like the rest of you.

Season 2 of Buffy is the best season of anything ever.  I prefer season 3 of Supernatural to season 4.  As for season one - whether they were ripping off or parodying horror films it was 'mostly lame.  I think it's started to go down hill tbh (a case of going on too long.) I don't find it has rewatch potential like most shows I watch.

Fringe - yes they've always had monster of the week episodes but they're not as interesting as the season arc (s3)

Fringe just gets better if you ask me, hope it stays on for a good few years yet, and I think we all know Season 3 of Buffy is the best.
