I'm not the only one seeing a giant mouth, with a row of teeth at the bottom, eating that truck, right?

Apparently the crocodile was a threat to the pride so she stepped up. Even though crocodiles usually win such confrontations she came away with just a cut lip.

The Blue Parrotfish (Scarus coeruleus) is a member of the parrot fish genus Scarus. They are blue and can grow to up to 120 cm. They inhabit the marine, reef-associated waters of the Western Atlantic, Brazil, Bahamas, Bermuda and the West Indies.

Since we all love these wonderous photos, some of you might be interested in the Weather Underground site, which is a US based weather site but has a photo gallery featuring awesome shots taken by the public, which get picked by the editors and posted into THIS gallery...

I have eaten one of those. A right bastard to descale, but very tasty indeed. Wasn't anywhere near as big as that one, though.

Really? Wow, I'm going to sound like a right shallow c**t now but I couldn't put that anywhere near my mouth.

Once dead and descaled, it loses a lot of its vibrant blue, and the flesh is the usual opaque colour you get with most fish. And, really, it's no different than eating a red Gurnard or Tilapia, or a cock trout or salmon for that matter. Except that a cock trout/salmon is not very good eating.

Ah, OK. Fair enough. I'm still trying to get my head around this being a real fish!

Most of the Parrotfish species (and there are loads) are pretty impressive to look at. I can't specifically remember which one, but one of them has a mouth which is basically a beak that juts out just like a parrot's beak, and it's rock hard too. Most of the Parrotfish species "beaks" are merely hard mouths that follow the contours of the rest of the head.

I purposely used that combo of words in the hope that someone would do something like that.
