In a future update will it be possible to incorporate the word define option? Holding finger on word will give option for define. It's really the only thing missing.

Hello,

I was just wondering if there was any update on being able to transfer/get for free my magazine subscription so I can get the iPad instead/as well as?

Chris.

James, Now be honest you have no intention of offering the IPad addition to the mag subscribers in the near future do you ? I suspect a reboot of the Batman Francise Directed by McG will have been and gone and YOU will still be wheeling out the excuse of "we are looking into it". To paraphrase, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can fool all of the people all of the time. So go away and get it sorted, and please stop patronising us you sanctimonious Monkey, Regards

Will there be pinch to zoom on pictures (and maybe even text) anytime soon?
Oh, and by the way... the app is awsome and so is the content.

Thanks

PInch to zoom on pages as a whole is something we won't offer as it goes contrary to the design - that's really the domain of PDF mags. Being able to enlarge images would be nice but you'd need to embed Hi-Res versions of the images, which would be a pain and pad the file size. So the answer, unfortunately, is probably not. If you enlarged the images as they are then they'd be very pixellated so probably wouldn't help all that much.

Hi James,

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, but I can't find it so am going to ask anyway.

Is it possible to access my Empire iPad subscription on multiple devices?

Thanks,

Best film mag ever, and no android version. As I have vowed to go paperless, I will miss your magazine, having read it since issue 1!
Au revoir. :(

Android will come. At present there's no Adobe software for Android (well, there is but it's in beta). Once they make it available then we'll start to look at a possible port.

Hi James,
Thanks for replying; I do hope Empire moves quickly on this. I must be honest, I think it has eithjer been a mis-step or you have a deal with Apple, because everyone else seems to have moved to android and for half the price. For now I am having to buy Total Film which is not in the same standard BUT I don't want to get used to it, lol. (Though I might add it's only £1.99 per issue!)
Hx
