BUT this looks sucky. I mean bad. Not a single laugh in the trailer, except for Blackbeard saying he's a bad man and it's Ian McShane so WE KNEW THAT ALREADY because he's always the bad man and there was no funny... why was there no funny? Where did the sharp tongue and magical wit go??? WHY'S THE FUN GONE?

Of course, I will pay a tenner to see it in the cinema, as an extremely optimisitc person, but I'm going in with low expectations and only the childlike hope that it will be amazing...

And like in Sahara, Penelope Cruz's woeful miscasting may well prove genius...
