Listened to this three times now since I got it yesterday. Amazingly good. It'll be fascinating to see how the music expands over the course of the next two film. I'd like to see an LOTR-style complete set as well in the future. Lots of differences in here compared to what was on screen though, and again it's be interesting when information comes out as to why this is. perhaps I'd even welcome another release of the music as used in the film One tiny complaint. The Misty Mountain music for the dwarves, on the standard soundtrack, the instrumental version of that theme bursts out, a really heroic version, in the track called Roast Mutton. I love it. (Listen HERE! - starts at 39.35 for about 20 seconds, and again at 40.20) The same track on this deluxe version is extended by some 50 seconds, yet that same theme version of the theme is not included, nor anywhere else on the soundtrack. We have other variation but not that really heroic one. Which I found to be kind of odd and something of a shame. But even so, this is the best soundtrack I've heard in years. I love it!

So, sir, we let him have it right up! And I have to report, sir, he did not like it, sir. Fellow scientists, poindexters, geeks. Yeah, Mr. White! Yeah, science! Much more better!
