Danny Fu*$ing Dyer. Can't stand the cockney wanker and refuse to watch any film with him in.

I agree with a post earlier too, John Wayne is a one trick pony. Every film he appears in is the exact same performance.

Knew Kermode would make an appearance as soon as (In full Kermodian impression) Danny Dyer was mentioned.

Just from Bridesmaids trailer.

Cant even remember a film with him in it at the moment...but by Job he's annoying

I love Melissa McCarthy, but I have to admit that- from seeing the trailer- Bridesmaids doesn't look like it will do her career any favours. She's such a funny woman, and a great actress, but they've given her the equivalent role of the loutish bloke that everyone hates. I would've loved for them to ggive one of the slim, perfectly manicured women all of the fart jokes.

However, I can't stand this guy:

He just comes across as so smug all the time, and I find him to be a bit bland in his films.

Jim Broadbent, I just don't get the appeal of him as a character actor and why he's raved about over here - he's the same in everything!! I used to dislike Ian Holm and Alfred Molina but now recognise that they are very versatile and can understand why people like them, but Jim I just cant see it at all!!

Will Ferrell is another, unfunny 'comic' who tries too hard and is dreadful, along with Seth Rogan.

On the women's side, Julia Roberts - I just refuse to watch a film with her in it - she has a mouth like a babboon's backside and just rubs me up the wrong way as does Michelle Forbes.

Theres a few others but at least I got the main ones I detest off my chest!!

Feel free to vent some anger on this thread with some of your most hated actors who seem to be adored by others. Within months, maybe weeks, I may well have completely changed my mind on some of these but for now I cannot bloody stand:

Seth Rogen

That annoying monotonous voice sided with the fact he has no apparent comic ability makes me dislike him. I will not see Paul because of this. And apparently its quite poor.

Russell Brand

Oh look how dandy this fop is as he flops about frolicking his frilly frocks and seemingly going on and on about nothing at all in a Dickensian style that would make Laurence Olivier blush....and he has hordes of women (and men) after him devouring every single pretentious word ..among other things.

I'm sure both these people are incredibly nice and normal in their spare time (well...Brand not so much)
and i certainly wish no harm on them. It;s just that it is very annoying that they make so much money and receive all their acclaim when they are clearly morons.

Much more to follow...I have a lot of built up hatred. After all I am Irish

I've actually bumped into Russell Brand a few times (He used to live very near my parents) and he actually is a really nice, sweet guy who goes out of it way to chat to people if they approach him even if he is trying to get his shopping into a car. His not quite as flamboyant in real life and no I'm not a massive fan of him as an actor.

I have a strange and well documented on these boards crush on Seth Rogen it's his voice that is the big selling point for me.

For me its Keanu Reeves apart from Bill And Ted ,Speed ,Point Break and the first Matrix he just does my head in
He ruined Dracula with his wooden acting and Terrblie accent

Owen Wilson can be good but only if he works with Wes Anderson although i hear that Woody Allen has got a good performance out of him in Midnight In Paris

I have nothing against her personally, and I'm sure she's a very nice person off screen, but Kate Hudson is a teeth itchingly irritating screen presence. Her performance in Almost Famous was a total fluke.

I know I'm a belter sometimes lol! I accept that I was wrong on the latter two actors - but Jim Broadbent I won't ever change my mind on hehe!! If he had been Del Boy in Only Fools like he was due to be, I'd never've watched it.

This is probably unpopular, but I have to say Zooey Deschanel. Sure, she's pretty, but in everything I've seen her in she just looks completely bewildered. It's as though she stumbled onto the set and wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do. She bugs the hell out of me.

This. That kooky, slightly stoned act is intensely irritating.

Thirded. She plays the same role in every single film. She even irritated me in The Assassination of Jesse James - how, I don't know.

I'll add:
Gwyneth Paltrow - holier-than-thou, can't act.
Julia Roberts
Lindsey Lohan - aside from being a complete, talentless waste of space, her attitude about her drink driving (she thinks that as she didn't hurt anyone it doesn't matter) makes me really angry, and, on a less serious note, she looks like she has body odour.

And the contraversial one - Morgan Freeman. In everything I've seen with him in, he plays the same role.

Actually, I'm inclined to agree. I think it's because he only ever speaks in that one, monotone voice.

Not just me then. Vacant, glassy-eyed expressions and monotone delivery. And it annoys me that she seems to have to sing in every movie she's in too.

Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Mike Myers - all people whose films I go out of my way to avoid.
Also, Jack Nicholson. With the exception of Chinatown I can't think of any performance of his that I've liked. His over the top mugging really gets on my tits. Obviously subtlety is not a word in his lexicon.

I completely agree about Zooey Deschanel. She believes that opening her eyes as wide as possible and being "quirky" constitutes as acting.

How about this guy:

I suppose he wasn't that bad in Social Network; but he really really really annoys me. Also he is not funny at all.

Same here on almost all accounts, except for A Series Of Unfortunate Events, that movie is my favourite performance of his.
His usual annoying eccentric erratic self was actually quite useful and very relevant in ASOFUE.

Personally I've seen a good hundred or more of them and his range is extremely limited to the point of being nearly non-existent.
