I'm intrigued to know how this gives a better insight into my listening taste than just a what i'm listening to, but ok. iTunes is shit for random, so i'll do it on my ipod.

well if you just put Morrisey or Kraftwerk or The Velvet Underground in the What you listenin to now thread, we would never have put you down as a fan of Lily Allen, now everyone knows you like a little bit of mainstream pop every now and then!

I see what you mean, and it kinda worked in this particular case, but there isn't anything to really say that I actually litsen to everyone in my iTunes (though I did it off my iPod) it could be my other halves, or something I was reccomended and never got around to, or something I don't listen to anymore due to my aversion to deleting stuff. Anyway, i'm bored and in work, so here's another ten from my Pod

1. Telephone - Lady Gaga and Beyoncé
2. Bits and Pieces - Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
3. All and Everyone - PJ Harvey
4. Visions of Johanna - Bob Dylan
5. New York City Cops - The Strokes
6. Born Free - M.I.A.
7 Razzamatazz - Pulp
8 Kooks - David Bowie
9. I Just Love You More - Kate Nash
10 Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush

I had a plan a while back to do a "state of your iPod" thread - a bit like the "A Thread About Musicy Stuff & That, Too!" thread, but about people's mp3 players, which would have asked people to post 10 shuffle tracks, as well as 10 Most Played, 10 Recently Added and various other bits and bobs. But then I didn't start the thread, and forgot about it.
And now I'm too busy / not here enough. And I'm also not sure if it's a worthwhile idea anyway.

Anyway, here's another next 10 from myPod:

1) Aim - Vipco
2) Chubb Rock - Treat 'em Right
3) Bracket - Sleep
4) Staring Back - Many Will Play, Few Will Win
5) The Strokes - On The Other Side
6) Cannibal Ox - Pigeon
7) Faith No More - Midlife Crisis
8) Giant Panda - Laser Ray
9) DJ Spinna - Rock
10) Craggz & Parallel Forces - Fizzy Piglets

Ok the last ones have been from my iPod, so it was a bit selective, here's ten from iTunes *closes eyes* *opens them again when realises its actually hard to operate iTunes blindfold*

1 E=Mc2 - Big Audio Dynamite
2 R U Lonley? = Graham Coxon
3 I Spy - Pulp
4 The Last Time That You Go - Yeti
5 Wiggle Wiggle - Bob Dylan
6 This Time - The Verve
7 Shoot Speed/Kill Light - Primal Scream
8 Suffergette City - David Bowie
9 Beautiful Stranger - Madonna
10 Hello Operator - The White Stripes

Wiggle Wiggle, LOL. Other than that, quite indie, with some classic rock and Madonna thrown in.

Nowt wrong with it, Underground was one of my songs. The song you refer to is actually called Magic Dance, but 'The Power of the Babe' is probably a more recognisable title (I assume that's why you named it that, I'm not implying you're stupid or anhything)

Another ten since I can't sleep-

Born on the Bayou- Creedance Clearwater Revival
Rainbow Connection- Kermit The Frog
Uninvited- Alanis Morissette
When You're Falling- Afro Celt Sound System (featuring Peter Gabriel)
You Make My Dreams- Hall And Oates
The Invisible Man- Queen
As- Stevie Wonder (quite possibly my fave song ever....)
Street Fighting Man- The Rolling Stones
Birdhouse In Your Soul- They Might Be Giants
Rag Doll- Aerosmith

I wonder what my taste in music says about me?

Not at all. I think a lot of people call it something other than it's actual name, it's one of those songs. I'm just being pedantic
