Jesus Jones! What ever happened to all those post Manchester bands that filled the void whilst we all waited for Britpop?

They're still going!

This December there is a mini tour called Sleigh The UK and its The Wonder Stuff, with Pop Will Eat Itself & Jesus Jones in support.
Okay so only Jesus Jones current line up bears any similarity to that from the 90s but hell, it should be a trip dowm memory lane!

They're still going? Blimey, I thought they'd be all Teachers or Social Workers by now. Pop Will Eat Itself Tshirts were as ubiquitous as acne when I entered further education.

Same here. Those and Ned's Atomic Dustbin shirts (who I am also seeing later this year)

I think the bands are pretty much part time at the minute so they could well all be teachers.
The Wonder Stuff is pretty much Miles Hunt and his wife now.
PWEI - Clint Mansell went to Hollywod to write movie scores (Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain etc) so its Graham Crabbe mostly,  who has recruited Mary Byker of Gaye Bykers On Acid fame as his new bouncing partner.
Jesus Jones, pretty much the original line up bar the drummer Gen who left about the time of their 4th Album. Bassist Al lives out in Chicago now so they have to fly him back at their own expense whenever they do gigs, so its not very often

Still looking forward to Sleigh The UK though!
