thought i saw this thread before but cant find it.

put your music player on shuffle and list the first ten songs it plays, give more of an insight into musical tastes than just 'What are you listening too now?'

1. On Any Given Night - 36 Crazyfists
2. Rise Inside - Killswitch Engage
3. Winter Month Novelty - At The Drive-In
4. Rewind - MC Frontalot
5. Within a Mile of Home - Flogging Molly
6. Chorus and the Ring - R.E.M
7. Aneurysm - Nirvana
8. Falling Down - Muse (one of the rare Muse tracks I wont skip)
9. Grandpa's Last Christmas - The Vandals
10.Don't Speak - No Doubt

pretty good overview of my most frequent listening habits

well if you just put Morrisey or Kraftwerk or The Velvet Underground in the What you listenin to now thread, we would never have put you down as a fan of Lily Allen, now everyone knows you like a little bit of mainstream pop every now and then!

This might have been more interesting two weeks ago, before I had to wipe 800 songs off my player. Well, I didn't have to, it turns out now that you can delete invisible podcasts using smart playlists... Now there are only 516 songs on there.

1. Sandy Denny - It Suits Me Well (BBC session)
2. Kate Rusby - Sir Eglamore
3. Tom Waits - Table Top Joe
4. Tom Waits - Hoist That Rag
5. The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want
6. Shellsuit - Iraqis in Shellsuits
7. The Rolling Stones - Love in Vain
8. Fairport - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (Peel session)
9. The Border Surrender - Blood in the Snow
10. Bob Dylan - Most of the Time (Alternate version #2)

2.  Let it Die by Foo Fighters
3.  Atlantic City by Bruce Springsteen
4.  Something to Believe in by The Ramones
5.  Invisible Light by Scissor Sisters
6.  Start Me Up by The Rolling Stones
7.  Born Slippy by Underworld
8.  Colours by The Prodigy
9.  Baba O'Reily by The Who
10.  Non Stop Dancing by  The Jam

I'm actually geniunely surprised at mine being such a cool random selection - only really the Scissor Sisters letting it down (although I do like the track ).  I think I may have got off light there.

Until I did mine, I was going to comment that most of the lists on here seem to be remarkably cool and on the whole, surprisingly free from the sort of "guilty pleasure" chod that I'm sure we all have on our iPods.  However, since my own is fairly unembarrassing (well, I aint as ashamed as I thought I'd be!) then who am I to say!
