Hello, Empire Online.

I've long seen your magazine praised as an example of journalistic excellence in the field of entertainment reporting, and so I'm pleased to have had the opportunity to join you here on the official EOL forum.

I hail from the North American continent, where a greater variety of dinosaur fossils can be found than anywhere else on earth. I've been a film enthusiast for nearly as long as I can remember, and it's with great pleasure that I look forward to many spirited discussions on cinema, life and the world at large as we of the human species continue our headlong rush into the malestrom of the 21st century.

Cheers!

Hi all,

I've just joined, but have read your posts on here for a few years now. It has taken me that long to learn enough to join in!

Unfortunately, I still know not much about anything. I would sample the virtual cake, but I'm diabetic, and so this is the equivalent of torture. You don't know what you've lost until it's gone, they say. And it's true. I miss cake.

I also give strangers information that they neither want or need. Thus.

Looking forward to my every opinion being hotly challenged, and inevitably proved incorrect!

Welcome Sancts (we often abbreviate the names of people for purposes of mateyness. As Spaldo says, avoid Thursdays and don't go downstairs or upstairs in the Naughty Milkmaid.

Naught wrong with lurking! I tend to be a lurker these days, don't have much to say anymore. Not since the incident.

That cake looks nice, it's the blobs of ketchup and mustard surrounding it that don't look quite so appetising.

Hi from the new kid.

I've been following Empire for most of last year. I majored in Film studies at uni and like to do the odd edit or two for personal films during my OE (would like to get into more professional editing software but that stuff costs a bomb).

Asking for my top 3 films is like asking which child is my favourite...so I won't say :)

Don't fret, your services are no doubt indispensable. I'd just been looking for an excuse to post that photo. It's from the cover of the WIlliam Sonoma Desert cook book, and it's probably my all time favorite image of cake.

I'm only messing. We can take it in turns to dish out delectable deserts.

You're off to a good start. #JealousMuch.

Your supposed to encourage people to go to the Maid Gaz! Sheesh just can't get the staff these days.

Ninj seriously stop with the cake porn, I'm starting to embarass my self by making noise such as "hurggh" and "Hmmmmm"

Oh welcome to all the newbies.
