Has anyone checked this out?
It's a podcast hosted by Kevin Smith (director of Clerks, Dogma, Zack and Miri Make A Porno) and radio personality Ralph Garman about Hollywood gossip (Lindsay Lohan is frequently mentioned) and upcoming geeky film productions (Garman is a massive Marvel/DC fan). It's pretty hilarious at times- this week's The Tudors moment had me cracking up on the train to work. Smith often gives an interesting look at the hollywood news from an insider point of view but with the same "he's one of us!" vibe that Simon Pegg has.

Understandably the show will not be to everyone's taste and elements of it are total fodder (every time Garman hypocritically opens his mouth about US chat show host Chelsea Handler and the obligatory shout-outs are particular lows) but over all it's a good geeky hour.

 Yep, heard them all so far. He's got a whole network of shows - at least one different podcast a day though I only really listen to BabbleOn and Smodcast. The Jason Mewes one didn't really grab me. Thought the podcast he did with Edgar Wright was funny and informative too.

I'd only given a couple a chance really.  Babble On seems the best but Blow Hard was prettty funny too.


On a side note - Garman is starting to really get on my nerves. I found his rant at Chelsea Handler's joke repetition utterly bemusing considering how often he reels off THE SAME (decidely so-so) impressions every show. His Pacino is paticularly crap. He should take some lessons off Rob Brydon.

Love their British accent attempts though. Tom Hardy - "Roight, lets Incept the fuck out ov 'im!"

 just discovered this - been listening back through all the podcasts for the last month or so! excellent stuff, Smodcast and Babble-on are my favs, Fatman on Batman is really insightful as well..

yep listen every week, it can get a bit repetative though

i listen to that, mayo and kermodes and of course empires
