My controller got thrown a fair few times in Demon's Souls.
Have yet to unleash my anger in Dark Souls, but that's largely because I now know what to expect, and am playing the game in the spirit it is intended (DIE LOTS!!) ;)
As for Dragon's Dogma, that really is a great game - and worth getting the new Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen release, as that's the new game and the new expansion in one lovely package. It's a very different game though, more like an RPG done in the style of Ray Harryhausen. Not as hard as the Souls series, but as engaging for sure.
