ORIGINAL: Rgirvan44 The art work looks fine, and fits in with the Alien universe. It isn't Scott and Camerons fault that their designs were used in countless mvoies/videogames since then. So do something new as that's no reason for complacency. It's uninspiring, clichéd looking and generic as is in these designs. We've explored workers in space and the military in that universe and the visual aesthetics that go with them sure but what else is out there? No reason different corporations, nationalities and species can't have their influences thrown into the palette of this universe now. Plus, we still don't know exactly to what extent this is related to Alien. Or what time frame. Or what region of space. When Scott stated that something new and unique had been born out of the Alien prequel creative process I hoped that would have been reflected not only in the narrative but also the look of the film. Still think it will. As I said, if these are real hopefully they will have been very early concepts. I would rather things were consistent with what came before. It is the main problem with the Prequels and Star Wars - the designs are like night and day, and don't really work as a full universe.
