What's the rule regarding compilations and soundtracks? Can we still vote for them as well? I'll need to have a think about my 20, will have one ready before the deadline.

Mostly concentrated on Albums Ive listened to most over the past year along the way discovering the wonderful Belle & Sebastian and getting blown away by the music of Laura Veirs who I'd never heard of a year ago.
As usual there are some painful omissions for me such as Prince Sign O The Times and Pet Sounds plus its guaranteed Ive forgotten one or two I should have put in.
Overall happy to give my music tastes a freshen up.

Funeral >> Sign O The Times though.

ALSO closing date is looming everyone. Just over a week to post your top twenty or edit your current list (PS edit your original post instead of quoting and making a new one).

Scores are allowed, and song-based soundtracks are fine as long they aren't compilations of previously released material. (E.g. The Virgin Suicides = allowed, Trainspotting = not allowed)

You could be right but I've got a soft spot for Erotica because I was obsessed with her when I was 12, everyone loves Ray of Light but Erotica is very under-rated. Possibly because Madonna had a lot of controversy going on around her with the Sex book and the gloriously awful Body of Evidence that people didn't seem to notice that the tunes were immense. It definitely deserves a re-evaluation. The Girlie Show tour is amazing.
